Condo was clean and spacious for our family of 4. Two bedroom two bathrooms was perfect.

I would definitely stay in this condo again. Condo was completely stocked with anything we could possibly need such as towels, floaties, sand toys for going to the beach and a cooler for packing a lunch and drinks for snorkeling. Perfect location for walking to John's Pass to restaurants, renting wave runners and just relaxing on the beach. The condo was on the 5th floor witj great views of John's Pass and the beach.

Great Condo

  • 4 of 5

This is our 3rd stay at Madeira Norte and the 1st in this unit.

This is a very nice unit.

It is well decorated and taken care of and the owners are very pleasant to deal with.

The views from the 5th floor are very nice and sitting on the balcony in the morning never gets old.

We had a small issue with the MBR toilet and David was very quick

to respond to get the issue resolved quickly. Exactly what you are looking for

when on vacation.

Couple minor comments -

The king bed in the MBR is comfortable, but the box springs are a bit noisy when you are getting in and out of the bed.

The LR couch is also comfortable, but the frame is a bit noisy as well when getting off and on it. (it is not the leather sofa that is in the picture)

My son liked the 2nd BR and separate full bath, but said that the mattress was a bit uncomfortable to him. (too hard to him)

Overall though, the unit has everything you should need, including beach chairs, umbrella's, etc. Even has a Keurig in the kitchen.

Would definitely consider staying here again.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback. We have always had 5 star reviews and strive for that with every guest. Sorry to hear your frustration with a little noise on the bed and sofa as well as the twin bed. The master bed and box spring are only 2 years old , the twin mattresses new this March, and the sofasleeper and loveseat are 2 years old...all significant upgrades from the ones we inherited when we bought the unit. The master toilet minor issue was fixed the day you checked out, as per your request. We will definitely look into the noisy bed and sofa.

Great location! Very nice condo with everything you need

  • 4 of 5

Our family loved our vacation! Everything we wanted to do was so close we barely drove anywhere all week. It was a bonus to get to enjoy the 4th of July fireworks all around, from the balcony. The condo was great too. We love this area and this was one of our best vacations

This condo is just as advertised. Great location and clean, even came equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, and beach toys. Owners were especially good and easy to get in touch with and rapid responses with all questions.

Great location: adjacent to Shopping, Restaurants & the Beach !

  • 4 of 5

Super-stocked condo.. we were happy to see beach toys and chairs, ponchos, and kitchen/laundry supplies since we flew into town and could not bring anything. I initially thought we wouldn't have anything, so we had stopped and bought some stuff on the way in and just decided to leave it there for the next group's use. Bathroom updates looked really nice and one part of the reason I booked the place! Minor issue with cleanliness, particularly dishes and kitchen appliances, but this in no way hampered our fun and excitement being there! The owners were swift to respond and remedy our situation. We went to Disney World, Children's Glazer Museum in Tampa, drove out to St. Pete Beach for a sunset dinner at Hurricane's, and almost did the pirate ship sunset cruise from John's Pass (incoming storms cancelled our trip though, but recommend the cruise based on their friendliness and the instant refund). When weather allowed, we went over to Johns Pass for shopping & ice cream.. Being on the beach was probably the biggest plus! But, if you like pools (my kids like a mix of pool/beach), this condo's pool is really small (max capacity is supposedly 8 persons). If you are friendly, though, you will meet a bunch of folks to hang out with! Most everyone we met was from the Mid-West or Canada.. weird.. :) All in all, I can't emphasize the location enough. Also wanted to add, if you have family with young children, we felt absolutely safe here. No problems walking around in the evenings on our own.. Just perfect! Thank you

Map

Bordered by the Gulf to the west, and the intracoastal waterway and Boca Ciega Bay to the east, Madeira Beach has a charm all its own, There's easy access to Motor Boating, Golfing, Deep Sea and Shore Fishing, and Sightseeing, One of the most popular draws here is the John's Pass Village and Boardwalk, which features shopping, eating, charters, and live entertainment - not to mention John's Pass itself which is one of Florida's most beautiful spots, Rusted tin roofs and weathered planks all contribute to a feeling of antiquity at this 'turn-of-the-century fishing village' as does a 1, 000 foot water hugging boardwalk, The bulk of the fishing fleet docks here to unload their catch, making good the nearby restaurant claims of the freshest fish and best chowder in the area
