We had an incredible week at Vicki's house while in town for my son's weeklong baseball tournament in All Star Village. The house is spacious beyond words and we had lots of room to spread out. We travelled with multiple families and loved spending time together in the huge eating area and living space before and after games. Everything you can think of is supplied in the house and Vicki was so incredibly helpful both before and during our trip. I would highly recommend this house to anyone coming to All Star Village (especially if you are trying to find accommodations for multiple families under one roof). We definitely made memories to last a lifetime and loved every minute we spent there!!
Four baseball families traveled from Chesapeake, VA, to visit Cooperstown and play ball at the All-Star Village. We loved the house, the local area and all the NY folks. This is a great house to stay in and it is very clean, lots of room and peaceful. We had laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, TV, a full kitchen - what more could you ask for. Loved the house and the hospitality and highly recommend to all. We will definitely recommend this house to other folks coming to Cooperstown from our area. Thanks Vicki and may God Bless You!!!
Vicki was a great host. Major things we loved about The Douglas House were that it was spacious, all rooms were comfortable, well-furnished with enough quilts, pillows and linens. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was well-stocked with the almost all basic things we needed over the weekend with a variety of other items. You could cook or bake if you wished. Vicki herself was super helpful and gave great suggestions for food joints around Daventport. Yellow Deli in Oneonta and The Blue Bee in Delhi were the ones we could hit and they were A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Thanks Vicki! Would definitely return there if I'm ever visiting the area.
Vicki's house was perfect for my family! My grandson was playing baseball at Dreams Park, it took us between 25-30 minutes each way which was beautiful. There were 6 adults and 1 or 2 kids each night, and everyone had a private and comfortable space. Showers were great. Kitchen space was plentiful, and all the extra rooms were fun. And, Vicki is about the best hostess/landlord anyone could ask for! From the moment I met her, I felt I had known her a long, long time. Thank you soooo much for a very memorable week for my family! (Plus, my grandson and his team WON the tournament!!!)
I can't THANK Vicky enough for allowing us to stay at her beautiful rental. We stayed a week for our boys Cooperstown All Star Village experience. The house was a perfect distance, 15 minutes to All Star Village and 10 Minutes to the Walmart. We were welcomed with homemade brownies, and we all felt at home. We are a baseball organization based in Vacaville, CA and this was our organization's 3rd year. I have recommended Vicky's home to several of our families that will be going to All Star Village next year! Thanks again for an AWESOME stay!
