About the property

Cabin, 1 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, Sleeps 6

This beautiful, modern vacation rental cabin with amenities like a hot tub offers the perfect location for winter and summer as it is a short walk to the Sandy River trails and a 15-20 minute drive to the ski resorts of Mt Hood. It's dog-friendly with an additional fee.

The home is set on a double lot which gives you plenty of space and privacy without being too far from the conveniences of the shops and restaurants in Rhododendron and Welches.

As you enter the home you are greeted with an inviting living room with beautiful hardwood floors and a gas stove that keeps you nice and toasty! There is a sofa that converts to a full-size bed so it is a great sleeping option for a couple or for kids.

The kitchen is thoughtfully finished with granite counter tops and a slate tile floor. It is fully stocked and offers a couple of nice extras including an espresso machine and an electric griddle. The dining table between the kitchen and the living room seats four and expands to six, so it is easily adaptable to suit your needs.

The master loft features a sitting area with a picture window looking out into the cedars and vine maples. If you open the window, you hear the nearby Zigzag River. The knotty pine ceilings, recessed lighting and ceiling fans make it a comfortable setting for rest and relaxation. The queen pillow-top bed has a down comforter, and the sofa/lounger folds down into a full-size bed. There is also a flatscreen TV and a DVD player that is great for winding down after the day's adventures on the mountain.

The second bedroom is downstairs and features a queen pillow top bed with a down comforter. The full bathroom is also downstairs.

This unique vacation rental offers loads of amenities to make it the perfect home away from home including a wireless Internet connection, a large deck off the back of the house, a private hot tub and a firepit in the backyard.

There are plenty of activities surrounding the house for kids and adults of all ages. You can check out Mt Hood Coffee Roasters and watch them roast a fresh batch of beans or you can tackle the slopes at Ski Bowl, Mt Hood Meadows or Timberline. The summer activities include hiking along the Sandy River or taking some excellent photos with Mt Hood views on a walk along Mirror Lake.

Bring the family for a rustic setting and all the comforts of home in this stylish vacation rental!

About Vacasa, OR - Mt Hood / Hood River Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

The cabin was very cozy, fireplace was nice. The hot tub was ready when we got there. Perfect for a couple or a family of 4. Clean and inviting.

Perfect little get away

 • 4 of 5

We enjoyed the hot tub, it would be nice to have it covered. The cabin was clean and cozy. We loved the gas fireplace and had everything we needed. The hot tub towels and amenities were a nice bonus. The front deck needs repair, but otherwise it’s a little paradise. Thank you

Great for a quick pop out of the city

 • 4 of 5

We had our roof getting redone for a few days and needed to get away from the noise. We needed quick wifi as we still had work to do. The house is good. Nothing over the top, but perfect to just get away and know that you can get done what you need to get done. I do wish they had a DVD collection to choose from, I am not a big fan of cable tv, and I saw they had a DVD player. Would be fun to be able to binge watch on a long weekend when it's just raining outside.
Loved the upstairs loft area. We worked up there and had a great view of trees. Super quiet hood and we were so happy we could bring our dog. Hot tub was a plus! Overall good experience!

Wonderful get away

 • 5 of 5

Spent 5 wondetful days at thid cabin in late september. it was all we vould have asked for. From the hot tub to the walk to the river. & pet friendly. Our dogs had a great time too. Cabin was well stocked w everyday items & even some things you woildnt have thought of or might have forgotten. We were bummed to leave. We are planning another trip back. Soon!! Everything was wonderful. My only suggestions would be to maybe add some place to hang clothes. Tension bar & hooks would work great in the loft. Also, maybe a little more coverage on the back porch. Wouldve been nice to be a little drier while bbqin & watching the rain.

Perfect Cabin in the woods

 • 5 of 5

This cabin is adorable. Clean and comfy. Although it was just my husband and I, there would have been room for another couple. We really enjoyed our time here.
