About Robert Moore

I have used my 30+ years in the Hawaiian hospitality industry to create a perfect refuge for visitors who seek a clean, safe and tastefully decorated accommodation at Paniolo Club. This unit has been remodeled--with the exception of exterior walls, it is practically brand new. With the additional amenities and privileges offered at the Waikoloa Club, your vacation will be filled with memories of pleasant breezes and beautiful sunsets.

Robert Moore purchased this condo in 2009

Why Robert Moore chose Kohala Coast

With hotel experience on all four major Hawaiian islands, I experienced the best of what visitors enjoy. I chose Waikoloa Village because it is centrally located near all of the attractions on the Big Island. With eleven of the world's thirteen climate zones, the 'Island of Fire & Ice' has it all! Paniolo Club comes with membership in the Waikoloa Club with golf, tennis and swimming available. The temperature in summer is a bit cooler due to its location 1200 feet above sea level.

What makes this condo unique

Paniolo Club comes with membership in the Waikoloa Club with golf, tennis and swimming available. I have a local manager to help you with anything you need.

I stayed at this property for a month. The entire time was a pleasure.

  • 5 of 5

The directions were on target. The owner and property manager were very helpful and prompt. The condo was clean and welcoming when I arrived. Neighbors very friendly. Great people watching on the 14th fairway of Waikoloa Village Golf Course (I thought I was a hacker!). Hawaii Tee Times offers amazing deals. we played Mauna Kea Resort course for $165, $275 for nonresort players. It is safe to leave teenagers at "A" bay with $35 on Sun.,WED., and Friday they can use all water sports stuff available-standup paddleboards, kayaks, water bicyles and glass bottom boat tours. At the end of the day you retire to the lanai to greet the wild turkeys on their evening vigil. Hapuna Beach is a beautiful sandy beach both my young visitors and older enjoyed for days. This is a great place to stay, relax and explore the Big Island .

BR 2 Ba Wailaloa Village Downstairs Unit

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed staying at this unit since we had stayed many times in the Village and couldn't stay anywhere else! We love the association pool and amenites! The easy walk to the store across the street made it simple to get groceries, breakfast and hot coffee!

Mattresses were a bit noisy since they are made that way but were comfortable. Kitchen area was equipped with the necessities. Easy parking and walk to the door. LOVE the turkeys making an occational walk past the gorgeous view of the golf course! Quiet! Nice neighbors! Only negative was the window coverings on the sliding doors since some of the slats were missing (floor to ceiling curtains would be better and easier on rentals.) Thank you and we hope to come again! Great location on the island with a car!

Owner's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed yourself and look forward to your return. My on-site manager assures me the blinds have been repaired. The mattresses were replaced this summer so I will look for another solution--a good night's sleep is a must to prepare you to enjoy all of the beauty of the Big Island. Thank you for staying with us and come visit us again soon!

Great Golfer's Location and convenient

  • 4 of 5

We loved staying here because it was a great location and we love to golf. We visited relatives had great meals in Kona and at Waikoloa Village. The temperature was perfect. My husband scuba dove and we both snorkeled. In the morning, we woke up to the turkeys gobbling around the sand trap. The manager was wonderful. Very responsive, accommodating and sweet. She made our stay there the best. The beds were fine, the linens brand new and we had wifi. We had a great stay and would recommend it.

Perfect place to stay

  • 5 of 5

I disagree with some of these reviews I've read. Not sure if it's different management, but the place is very clean. the wifi works great. Comes with cable. The bed I slept on had no noise what so ever. The place was very cozy and linens are very well taken care of. The property manager was really on top of everything and came immediately to my needs or to answer a question. Very easy to get ahold of and always has a fast response. I would definitely stay here again I think its a beautiful place with a great view. Thanks for everything!!!

Waikaloa

  • 4 of 5

The location was very convenient from the point of view of getting around the area, and having the shops a short walking distance away. Made two trips to Hilo area, around the coast, to the volcano, and easy drives to the Kings shops and beach area. Weather was not all that great with the vog, but it did not stop our enjoyment of the island and its people. The view over the golf course was relaxing.

The facilities were adequate and grateful to have an internet connection. We would have to agree with a previous comment, that both beds were noisy, and woke each partner every time one moved.

The front bedroom blinds needed attention, so had to make do with blankets, and in this room road noise was an issue.

We enjoyed having Mari available, and enjoyed her company.
