On popular Indian Rocks Beach! Awesome Gulf-Front/Upper-Corner condo of a newer 6-unit building named ISLAND SANDS. Very few condo buildings have the charm and privacy of this one! From inside, and especially on the balcony, views of the gulf and beach are fabulous; enjoy a wonderful place for watching people, seagulls, dolphins and amazing sunsets! Very nicely furnished/decorated, and a ceiling fan in each room. A 'hidden gem' location that is much less touristy than busy Clearwater Beach and Saint Pete Beach.

Master Bedroom has king bed, full bathroom, 20" TV. Guest Bedroom has queen bed and full bathroom next door. Large Kitchen is fully-stocked, seating along its big counter, a dining table and Wireless Hi-Speed Internet. Living Room has leather couches with pullout sofa-bed. Entertainment Center: 38" flat screen (many channels), DVD player, Bluetooth Stereo Receiver/CD player, games and many books.

Big Covered Balcony has high-table with two chairs, two lounge chairs with footstools, end table. Swimming Pool is heated for cool months and adjacent to the Sun Deck with chairs, recliners, gas grill.

Storage Bin is loaded: beach chairs, umbrella, rafts, floaties, toys and kids' stuff. Amenities: 4 beach towels, and the basics for bathroom, kitchen, laundry.

RENTAL PERIOD: Saturday to Sat is required, 7-nights to multi-weeks. Entry 3:00 or after, Depart 10:00am. Non-Saturday stay is rarely quoted, but will 6 or 13-nights with a Sat, or less than 7 nights for a week almost here & still open.

DEPOSITS - Booking: 30% of total cost, balance is due at least 60 days from the rental date. Security: $150, refunded if condo is left reasonable.

EXTRA GUEST: Rates are up to 4 guests, max is 5. Extra guest fee is $16 - $20 per night, a child 3 yrs or younger is free.

PARKING: Under building, 2 spaces: #12, #13. Also, 2 visitor spaces.

BABY ITEMS: Reasonable cost, delivered to condo for a week or longer: crib, highchair, etc. Ask how.

Beautiful, restful....all the necessities for a great winter getaway

I agree with Jody K.....I didn't want to write a review only because we love it so much!!! The word is getting out and for good reason. Lovely, clean, beautifully decorated. We've been there several years now and it just gets better. We usually will take a day trip but didn't this year because the view is perfect for sunsets. We look foward and enjoy cooking in the large kitchen area is perfect while watching the sunset. We visited "The Reef Seafood Market" for grouper & shrimp, and on the days we didn't want to clean the shrimp, we walked across the street for pre-cooked, ready to eat shrimp at Crabby Bill's Seafood Shop (not the restaurant). I just can't say enough (or don't want to because everyone will want it). The place is so comfortable. During the terrible work days at the hospital.... this is where my happy place is. Thanks to the owners for sharing their home, Sue who is SO helpful and the cleaning crew. The place was spotless!

This was a perfect time and place to go to the beach. The weather was unseasonably warm and the best sunsets of the year. This place and Roger was on point. Clean, LARGE, (pictures don't show it), and close to the beach. We brought our 2 yr old for his first time at the beach, and the box of beach "stuff" there was perfect for all of us. We didn't need a thing. Umbrellas, chairs, sand toys, etc.. all there.

Bedding, bathrooms, and general look of the place is fresh and clean. The double sliders to the deck is the coolest thing ever for sunsets and dinner.

The kitchen is where I thought would be lame like other rentals, to my surprise, it had everything I needed to prepare all meals for the family. I am a professional chef and I am picky. The grill outside is clean and perfect for grouper, tuna, and mahi. Crabby Bills is a 2 minute walk for fresh fish BTW.

I am saying thank you Roger for a great first and not last stay here at IRB.

Great location, clean, spacious.

We loved this vacation so much we have already booked it for next year! The condo is set up perfectly for two couples.... no twin beds. The kitchen had everything you need plus spices and other essentials. The washer and dryer were used often as we were there two weeks. We had coffee on the balcony every morning and watched dolphins play. The sunsets were beautiful. We found plenty of shells on the beach in front of the condo. The condo is close to great restraunts and the best ice cream shop. We drove to Clearwater beach but liked ours better. Roger was fantastic and we will definitely be back!

Everything we needed, wanted and more!

We had such a great time at this condo! Superb location, walking distance to Jake's Cantina and Crabby Bills, as well as CVS. The beach was wonderful, and the view from the balcony couldn't have been better! We had everything we needed and felt very "at home." We would return in a heart beat! :)

Wonderful anniversary week

It was a beautiful week. The ocean view was wonderful and we enjoyed many sunsets on the lanai. The condo is very comfortable and we could not have asked for anything more. It is also well equipt for the pool and beach. We love the area because you can walk to restaurants, bike rentals, and paddleboard rentals. Thank you Roger!!
