This upscale home was recently renovated. It includes tile, cabinets, granite and Corian counters and new furnishings throughout. The home features a wood burning fireplace, separate his and her walk-in closets in the master bedroom and heated pool on the very private lanai. The decor gives it an island theme desired on a tropical vacation.
The location of this home is exceptional. It is within walking distance of Tigertail Beach and the Esplanade. The Esplanade has upscale shops, cafes, restaurants and a day spa.
The salient feature of this home is the private, wide-water view that greets you when you open the front door. This is a southern exposure home which means the sun is on the lanai throughout the day. The orientation of the living area, bedrooms and kitchen were designed to take full advantage of this incredible view.

I am a small town, Mid-western mother of 3. My boys are currently in college at Michigan State University and my daughter is currently a freshman in high school. Renting vacation property on Marco Island has been my job since 2002. There have been ups and downs in the market, but Marco Island has always held my heart and I hope to retire there one day.

Why Jacqueline chose Tigertail Beach
My husband and I have been traveling to Marco Island to visit family for almost 30 years. We fell in love with the area. We could not afford to purchase a retirement home here, so we decided to start a vacation rental business to allow us the opportunity. We have owned 7 different properties; renting as many as 5 at the same time at one point. We now are down to one property on Marco Island. We have held on to THIS home because of our memories here as well as how quickly we relax upon arrival. For us, ownership of 368 Century Drive can be summed up in two statements: It is "easy" to be here. It is tranquil to be here.
What makes this House unique
Our home on Century grabbed our hearts because of its location. A wide-water view is rare on Marco Island. Most homes are situated on a canal: I did not enjoy seeing inside my neighbors' homes (and them seeing mine). My family and I enjoy walking to the Esplanade to get drinks, ice cream or shop. We also like to ride bikes down to the beach, to restaurants or to town center. The location to restaurants, shops, the beach along with a great view from the chaises on the lanai have kept us spending time on Marco Island in this house for over 15 years. When I am not here: I long for it. When I have to leave this home: I dread it.

Enjoyed our stay.
My first impression from the outside was a little weak, but it was a nice house, clean, with everything in working order and a great view. It could use some fresh drapes and carpet with a few new chairs in the lanai, but I would stay there again. Management company personnel were also very accomodatong.
We are in the process of recovering from Hurricane Irma. The roof is being replaced, the garage door has been replaced (but still not painted) and the landscaping is still growing back after having been blown to smithereens this fall. Yes, the outside currently is weak. But will be nice again once those projects are complete.
The home is in the midst of an update: I had the soffit over the island removed and replaced it with new lights. At the same time, the entire kitchen, living and dining areas were repainted just in time for guests to arrive near Christmas. The curtains and carpet are going to be replaced in April.
I am updating the home's decor, but it does take time. I will update the photos when those changes are complete. Irma and major exterior work slowed progress on interior decorating.
I try and keep the home in a manner guests will want to return to. I am also receptive to ideas on how to improve the home for your vacation use. Just contact me directly during your stay if there are deficiencies or you have ideas on ways to improve the accommodations. My goal is for you to be able to relax and take a break from the busyness of everyday life.
The updates to the kitchen area are great. The house was better than pictured! Loved our stay at this house.
Perfect place to call home while on Marco Island.
My family of 5 was quite please with this home for our week long stay on Marco Island. The pictures are ABSOLUTELY an accurate portrayal of the homes loveliness. It is clean, comfortable and full of sunshine. The neighborhood, though only about a block off of a main road, was quiet and friendly. The layout of the house was perfect for our stay - master bedroom on one side, the 2 bedrooms our 3 children (ages 9-16yo) shared on the other side of the home. Separating the bedrooms was a well sized open area for the living & dining room/kitchen. The privacy hedges between this home and those on either side in addition to the amazing width of the canal to the condos on the other side allowed for complete privacy when using the pool area. There were ample dishes, towels and bed linens for us.
Marco Island itself offered our family exactly what we needed - a beautiful place to slow life down enjoy each others company. The location of this home was a bonus. We were close enough to grocery stores, souvenir shops, restaurants, Sweet Annie's Ice Cream (don't miss out on this treat) and of course - the beaches. Most all things we wanted to do were within a reasonable bike ride (provided by the home owner) or a 5 minute car ride. Aside from the bikes we also took advantage of the coolers and beach items provided.

Million Dollar View
I read the other review on this page and was confused by what the gentlemen wrote as this has not been our experience at all. This year was the second time my husband and I and our children have stayed in this property and we hope to return again next year. We have found the owners to be very friendly and helpful and the property managers are kind and make the process so easy for check in/out.
For those of you not familiar with Marco, this is a great location. It is North enough to be out of the hotel hustle and bustle, but close enough to the beach that it is a quick, convenient drive. It is close to many restaurants and near two groceries.
Our favorite thing about this house though is the view. It is truly spectacular as it sits directly on Clam Bay with direct sunlight all day on the pool and water and provides beautiful sparkling lights at night.
Our only complaint is we wish we could afford to buy it. :)
Pictures are VERY deceiving of this house!!!
Arrived to a broken air conditioner and no hot water!! This was 3:00 on Sat. Afternoon, at 9:00 Sat night the rental co. Put us in another house, we were there until tues, it was a horrible 3 days! This house is very outdated, we couldn't cook because pots and pans and utensils were nasty! Obviously the owner doesn't care how Her property looks! There were 3 wash cloths for a house that sleeps 6!!dhe definitely needs new pool loungers, there are holes in the loungers! The pool ladder is loose and dangerous! The rental co who rents this house Marco island vacation properties told us this house is very outdated!!! We were told by owner of home who I called that she would reimburse the first 4 nights, she lied, she's informed us now she's not, we love Marco island, will be back but never to this house or renting from this rental co., very dishonest people!
These people stayed for 2 weeks. Upon Saturday arrival, the air conditioning in the house was not working. The management company I work with provided several options for them to move to until the repair could be made. They were also given the opportunity to move for their entire stay. They chose to sleep in the rental house the management company offered and stay in this house during the day while the part was ordered from the factory. After the air conditioner was fixed, they moved back into this house for the next 10 days. They chose to stay in the other house at my expense for a few days until the air conditioner was fixed. The repair was under warranty and completed Tuesday late afternoon.
I received a text from these guests during their stay that said, "we're enjoying our stay very much! I wish we had another week to do over the first few days of chaos!" "We've enjoyed your home and our vacation, thank you!"
I do not manipulate the pictures. When things go wrong, I do my best to remedy any problems that arise. I have been renting property weekly on Marco Island for 14 years, and have many repeat guests in this house. I have never encountered a situation like this one.

$1200-2500/Week Refundable security deposit of $500. 10% Florida Tax not included. Normal cleaning fees included. High Season: Mid Dec. to April $2200-$2800/week Low Season: May to middle of Dec. $1200-$1600/week Rates do not include a $125 cleaning & processing fee.
