As one of our guests you can enjoy the Royalty Experience that only the newly appointed Dynasty Lofts has to offer. There are three completely different spaces to enjoy at this property depending on what you want your travel experience to be. This loft suite is approximately 1250 square feet of the best amenities available while being located seconds walk from the worlds famous Gaslamp Quarter, moments walk to the San Diego Convention Center, the Ralphs Grocery Store, Horton Plaza Shopping Center or the new Padres Baseball Stadium. The unit is a two bedroom two bathroom suite that can sleep up to 6+ people. Each bedroom one bathroom units both with their own private entrances. The space has a stylish modern N.Y. feel with hardwood floors; diamond plate accents one queen bed, one full size bed, and two sleeper type sofas. I consider this one of the best space for a gathering of great friends or work colleagues coming to enjoy everything that San Diego Downtown has to offer. The unit sits at street level in a semi-residential neighborhood which makes it the greatest view of beautiful people, walking to the nightlife of the Gaslamp. It is note worthy that each of the large glass windows (seen in the pictures and virtual tour) have blinds that allow you to see out during the day but prevent people passing by from seeing in. In addition, there are drapes that can be pulled over the blinds to block out the light and add additional privacy. The commercial style front doors are frosted with sheers in front of the doors. A few of the amenities includes: forced heating and air conditioning, 42” Plasma TV, free wired internet. We encourage you to “Go Green” and take one of our provided bicycles to The Children’s Museum, Sea Port Village, The Famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, The San Diego Bay, or the USS Midway. If your stay includes Sunday feel free to enjoy the stroll through the Farmers Market that is just around the corner on 3rd and Island. Rates subject to change without notice.

Definitely unique - great location

We were a bit unsure when we pulled up but our stay turned out great. Fun stay that our group of six enjoyed. Location is excellent if you're looking to have a good time at the Gaslamp District like we did and very close to Petco Park to catch a ballgame.

Owner is not responsive, property was nice

The owner is not very responsive. We called twice on our first day and neither phone call was returned. We could not access the locked thermostat, so the apartment would fluctuate between 68 and 74 degrees. Also, the given wifi password was incorrect so we could not connect to the internet. The property has an odd layout, but is otherwise very nice. It was clean and updated. In order to keep privacy, you must keep all shades closed because the property is ground level on a street corner. As many other renters have mentioned, the door also does not open easily, but it is manageable. Overall, nice apartment in great location, just not a very responsive owner.

Location was Excellent!!!

Getting in contact was very difficult. Never received any instructions on how to get in or any other information I may have needed.The inside looks just like the pictures with a few blemishes. Cracked windows and a broken bar stool. None the less the spot worked out very nicely it's nice and close to everything. Walking around was very easy also.

Great location and met our expectations

Aside from a glitch with getting the code, we were happy with this selection for our stay and would probably choose it again. It had ample space and was clean. It is a little unusual in its layout due to being converted from a business to living quarters. We felt safe and secure.

The wifi was not very good and the instructions for the unit were a little confusing because they seem to reference more than one location. The most important thing to us was the great location in the Gaslamp Quarter.

Great location, and that's about it.

After reading multiple reviews complaining about the air conditioning, the very first hung I did was reach out about the status of the a/c and if the issues had been resolved. I was told that there had been past issues of "overuse" but I was assured that the code to the locked out thermostat would be sent to me. It was not. There were two guests, myself included. We had a total of two towels and two washcloths and two hand towels to share between us for a 7 day stay. There was no soap or shampoo in either of the bathrooms, but I'm only nitpicking there. The floors and linens were clean. Surfaces of furniture and appliances were not. The top of the fridge would blow a cloud of dust when you shut it. I'd say the pictures looks much better than the property does when you're standing in it in person as well.

I did attempt to get in touch with the owner. For two days straight, I got a disconnected number tone. No option to leave a voicemail. I called the secondary contact and a person who I believe is he owners secretary. The secondary contact assured me that the towels supplied were plenty enough despite me telling him otherwise. This man argued with me. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't really want to wash my face with a used washcloth. Especially one that's been used for a week straight. I bought my own and threw them away.

I was told to speak with a neighboring tenant in the building about the a/c. The guy was super nice but refuses to turn the a/c down any more than it was during he day. It was set to 76. He tried his best to remember to remotely turn it down at night and his first night at attempting this was successful. The following nights he forgot. The secretary managed to call me back two days later and left a voicemail that essentially said we should be set up and good to go. Basically there's no reason for me to call her back.

The location is PRIME. I won't stay here again though. I'll be happy to walk a few more blocks AND spend Moreno money to be able to sleep at night without sweating. Every negative review you read on this property is accurate. Even the roach issue. We did only see one during our stay.

Stayed here over Memorial Day weekend 2017 for 4 nights. PURPOSE OF VISIT: destination wedding for friend's son LOCATION: Perfect! My Uber rideshare from the airport to "the dry cleaners" (as we called it) was $4 (+ tip)! In traffic, wasn't more than 15-20 minutes. About a 3 block walk to Ralph's, where you can get all your groceries, beer, wine, alcohol, flowers, postcards, greeting cards, etc. Remember to bring your shopping bags or they will charge you for theirs! Also about a 3 block walk to Horton Plaza, home to Macy's, Loft, Cinnabons, Express, Footlocker, etc. Very popular nightclubs, bars and restaurants are all up and down 4th Avenue, a mere 1 block Uber needed! THE UNIT: I arrived at the dry cleaners a day before my son and his wife. Wished I had gotten a pic of their faces as they walked in the front door!! Priceless! Wide-eyed in amazement and glee! We found the linens, bedding, mattresses, to be very comfortable. I am very picky about my pillows, and these were great. The unit was clean and in good condition. Even though we didn't cook, the kitchen appeared well stocked. Even had salt, pepper, olive oil, vinaigrette, etc, at the ready for your food prep needs. Plenty of silverware, wine and beer openers, glassware, plates, etc. Icemaker was turned off due to a malfunction, causing water leakage on the floor, BUT the owner provided a large bag of ice for us! Very helpful and appreciated! JUST SO YOU KNOW: There is one door that leads out of the living area to the bedrooms. When you walk thru that door, you pass directly by the queen bed, thru another door, to get to the bedroom with the double bed, thru another door to the ensuite bathroom. Now back up to when you come thru the first door, walk around the bed, straight ahead to the closet, turn left, go thru the door which leads you into the bathroom. The bathroom layout: toilet, tall cabinet for your use, wide single sink, shower. Past the shower is a space for a washer/dryer, which there is none. It is home to the iron and ironing board, used frequently, and again, greatly appreciated. One hairdryer is also provided. My son and his wife slept on the queen bed and I took over the "real" bedroom with ensuite bath. Bring lightweight bathrobes to avoid any awkwardness, if privacy is an issue. With curtains closed, NO ONE on the street can see in! Great communication w/owner. And point that remote to the box above the frig! :D We truly enjoyed our stay! :D
