My colleague and I stayed at this apartment June 4-12 2016 and we loved it! We were attending a conference at the Moscone Center and walked there everyday (not event 10 minutes). The apartment is faithful to the description and picture. It has a great location and is very clean, comfortable, and well furnished. We realy enjoyed the fully equiped kitchen as we were able to cook our own meals and enjoy all the local and fresh products San Francisco has to offer.
Rose, our contact person, was available through texts messages and very quick to answer.
Note that the access to the bathroom is in the den (=second bedroom), but that was not a problem for us.
Tips to the owner: maybe get rid of the carpet in the bedroom and add screens to the windows to keep the bugs out (my colleague slept in the den and since it was warm she had to open a window and got several bites every night). Also, instructions to get the oven working would be a plus, since I had never worked with a gas range before. And, last thing, please fix the second lock on the front door so guests feel safer.
Overall a great place to stay! We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to San Francisco! Thanks for everything Rose!
We stayed for four days in the beginning of May
The location was good and walking distance to the Moscone Center.
The apartment has small rooms. The lay out is like a shoe box or long hall way which is okay but not easy to move around in.
The place is clean but the supplies are sparse. The kitchen has few supplies and hardly any staples.
There is one nearby market but it is a very expensive small market.
There is a Starbucks right next door which was great.
There is construction going on all night long. The bedroom is right off the street. Therefore, you have to wear ear plugs to sleep.
When you turn on the room heaters it blows the fuse in the basement. You have to go down stairs and reset it.
The internet was not working when we arrived. It took about a day to get it fixed.
It was not very good or reliable internet. The owner apologized and offered to refund $50 for the inconvenience. She never did.
I even contacted her three times. Until now she has not done it. Beware!!
We stayed here with our six-month-old daughter and attended a conference at the Moscone Center. The apartment was clean and well-furnished. The building was located right in downtown, walking distance to the conference, the Embarcadero, and tons of restaurants. It was nice to have the extra space, full kitchen, and free laundry when traveling with the baby. Although some reviewers mentioned noise, we didn't have any problems. The large bedroom is located in the front of the building and looks out over a street. Traffic gets busy at times, but the noise is no worse than any other city, and the location makes it worth it. The back bedroom is smaller and was a great place to put the pack-n-play. We will be back!
We had 3 adults in our party, staying in San Francisco before moving on up the coast. For the price, this was an OK rental. The overall condition of the property was somewhat shabby and there are several simple maintenance issues that should be addressed. The owner/manager either doesnt know or doesn't care to be aware of the issues with this property. A few tweaks to make it more inviting could make this a great ltitle place. Small things like fixing the sliding closet doors (off track and immovable) and providing more glasses and mugs and hangers (there were maybe a dozen) would be a start. We requested more hangers during our stay, got a response that "someone from their team" would see what they could do, but no follow up and no extra hangers. Storage space was at a premium as there are no dressers in the unit and very few shelves. Other reviews complained about the noise, but we were not bothered at all. If you are on a budget and are willing to compromise a bit, this isn't a bad choice. We parked our car and either walked or took Uber everywhere. Great location for access to food and drink. Be prepared to pay $30/day if you have a car. The building across the street has secure public parking at $35/day if I recall.
Oh, and the plug-in air freshener in the entryway is awful and overpowering. Please, for the sake of future travellers, get rid of it.
Very dark And noisy - from the add the apartment looks bright - there is no view from any of the windows. the patio is a bit of dirt with a table and 4 chairs. Although advertised to sleep three....?there area not two bars tools in the kitchen.......it is not suitable for 3 adults. The bathrooms though the second one bedroom!!!!
No soaps, shampoos ....it was clean though. But if you at allergic to overwhelming scents.....Heavy use of essential oils diffusers .
Two blocks from Moscone Center - just do not forget the earplugs and definitely do not try to use it for three adults! Who are not related. It basically sleeps 2 in a queen bed!
My girlfriends and I stayed here for the SF Nike Women's Half Marathon and had a great time. It was close to everything, we walked or Ubered everywhere. The apartment is very cozy, and the beds were very comfortable. We got in and out without issues. There was a bit of a fruit fly problem, and if you leave the windows open, the bugs (mosquitoes) will get in because there are no screens.
Activities: Excellent cafes and restaurants within easy walk (i.e., Tropisueño, Cheese Cake Factory, Boulevards, Hawthorne Lane, Town Square, Palomino, Yang Sing) this apartment is very close to downtown and convenient to everything, just a few blocks from the new Embarcadero (Ferry Building, Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf). Area: Two blocks from the Moscone Center, the apartment building is on a safe area surrounded by expensive condos and hotels.
Other Activities: Sightseeing, shopping
