My husband is a small town veterinarian who aspires to become a world famous writer someday while I manage our clinic and every other aspect of our life. A very far cry from the fashion designer of my younger days. We have three grown children. Our son, having completed his veterinary medicine degree is working with us while our eldest daughter is completing her Law and Master's degree. Our youngest is finishing her undergraduate Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Geology and loves anything to do with ROCKS!
The Owner purchased this condo in 2010
We have been vacationing in New Smyrna for the past 20 years. Despite visiting many places over the years, this area is very special to us. We have many fond memories while our 3 kids were growing up, and hope to have many more with them and any future 'grandkids' that come along. Despite having a timeshare at the other end of the beach, we always gravitated to this scenic peaceful area. The minute we stepped into the condo, saw the incredible ocean and river views, we knew we had found our 'Pied a Terre'. Since we like being active with our water 'Toys', observing and photographing wildlife, how could we resist this best of both the ocean and river worlds. We can help suggest how to make this a special one time or yearly trip since we have probably done it or plan on doing it at some point.
It's simply the Best of Both Worlds....
We spent the month of November in this lovely and very well-equipped condo(great stocked kitchen). What a fabulous find! The condo is very spacious and has wonderful ocean and estuary views! It was so great to see all the wildlife from our over-sized, screened-in balcony! Biking down into the National Seashore Park was fantastic! J.B's Fishcamp was a 5 minute walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our walks along the narrow beach roads, as well as the beautiful beach. We didn't get a chance to kayak on the estuary but will next time, it's looks so peaceful. Thank you to the owners for making our vacation memorable!
My husband, 6 year old daughter, and I stayed here Spring Break 2011 and we LOVED IT!!! My family has been vacationing in New Smyrna Beach for many years and we have stayed at a lot of places in the area but this is by far the nicest. We spent a good portion of our time on the screened in balcony that faces the estuary. We ate every meal out there and enjoyed watching all the birds, manatees, and dolphins. The owners were so accomodating and friendly. We will definitely be renting this condo again!!!!!
Again this place was a wonderful place to stay. The condo is very nice, clean, and nicely appointed. Owners are great to work with. Will be back again next year for sure.
My wife and I enjoyed out two-week stay and found the location perfect for R & R on the Beachside of New Smyrna Beach. Great quiet location with everything as described for a perfect getaway!! Owner very helpful and made our first rental experience painless! Would recommend to friends and relatives.
Our first evening there, as we were eating our dinner on the screened patio overlooking the estuary, the dolphins were putting on a show for us below. We laughed , wondering how the owners could train them to perform on cue like that. Then the glorious sunsets over the estuary , amazinginly beautiful ; but not as beautiful as the sunrise over the ocean ,seen from the kitchen window , while sipping the first cup of coffee. We could look out and see the surf, and tell if our favorite fisherman had made it that morning to surf fish. We knew when we saw his car pull in that it was time to round up our gear and head over to the beach. We ate at JP's fish camp- the rock shrimp was very good. We celebrated our anniversary at the Spanish Grill- awesome - the food , service and atmosphere was perfect. I really enjoyed the art community , my husband enjoyed the racing community. Our owner was so helpful in making suggestions of things we might like to do like visiting Merritt Island and Blue Springs State Park , would highly reccomend both. It was so relaxing and comfortable. King size beds with pillow top mattresses- very comfortable. Everything in the condo was homelike. The neighbors are friendly and the owner very concerned with our comfort, really wanting us to enjoy our stay ; which we did and hope to do so again. The month just went too quickly.
This condo is wonderful. The views of both the Indian River Lagoon and the ocean are awesome. You could spend hours just sitting and looking either out the window or on the screened in porch at the wildlife and boaters in the river. Being able to see the surf before heading down to the ocean with my board was a big plus. The place has been remodeled and feels brand new. We have been visiting my parents in NSB for the last 20 years and this is the best place we have ever stayed. The owners are very nice and helpful and the transaction went very smoothly. There is a large elevator so getting up to the 5th floor was easy for us and my 82 year old mother. Restaurants that you need to visit include JB's Fish Camp (its a good scene), the Spanish River Grill (might be the best food in NSB), and the Off the Hook Raw Bar and Grill (sports bar like place that is clean, comfortable, and has great food). We plan to stay here again.
On site boat launch and mooring available. Shuffle board courts. 2 public parks located next to property with kids playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, picnic table, bar-b-q, fishing pier and manatee viewing area
