Beautiful setting in the Black Hills, close to Deadwood and only 1 mile to snowmobile trail. Three different sitting areas to get away from the kids if wanted. TV with Dish Net service, also DVD in the loft and 42 inch plasma in living room. Nice fireplace with wood on the deck ready for a relaxing evening.
Two bedrooms and bath on main floor and 3 bedrooms and bath in the lower level with walk out patio door, can park snowmobiles right by the door, all bedrooms have new queen beds.
Deer and Turkey are always around and great for the young and old.

I just enjoy the 4 acres we have and hike in the woods and watch the deer and turkey go past the chalet. New wood floor and carpet on main floor.
We had 5 couples. Loved the deer & wild turkeys every morning. Great location to everything we did.
I left a couple of tops behind and Mr. Ken very graciously mailed them to me. Thank u Ken & Carol.
The house was simply wonderful.
Wonderful location for a girls weekend with the spouses. Easy taxi ride to Deadwood. Place had condiments in kitchen, tons of rooms/beds and big dining room table for space. Am definitely considering staying here again.
The cabin was beautiful and in a beautiful wooded area. We had deer visit us almost daily right out the back yard. Cabin was very confortable and had all the amenities you would expect at any home. Property was exactly as was portrayed and was clean and well maintained. The owners were very helpful. We highly recommend taking day trips to explore the black hills forest, Mt. Rushmore, Pactola Lake, Spearfish Canyon, and Custer State Park in which we had bison 2 feet away from our car and donkeys that would poke their heads into your car looking for food. Overall our vacation and accomodations here were great.
What an absolutely gorgeous place to stay! You can enjoy the peace and quiet of the fresh mountain air with amazingly beautiful views of the mountains and wildlife (so much nicer than a hotel). And yet it's centrally located for sightseeing. And no matter where you're going, it's a gorgeous drive. It's about 10 minutes from skiing, snowmobiling, historic gambling in Deadwood, golfing and the wonderful Mickelson Trail if you want to mountain bike. It's probably a half hour to Mt Rushmore (again, a gorgeous drive). And the chalet itself is not a cabin but a true house...roomy, well maintained and well stocked. Like being at home in the middle of a mountain paradise.
our rates are based on the number of people staying. $150 for the 1 st 4 people and then $25 per person after that.
