This is a wonderful place.

Great view, beautiful location and very convenient, close to the beach. The apartment itself is perfect.

Loved it and I am planning to go again as soon as I can.

We would highly recommend Shana residences - the place was gorgeous and the view was spectacular. Vanessa and Tom were very helpful. Even helped us find a wonderful babysitter. Staff at the hotel was fantastic too. Coming back again next year!!

The condo was beautiful and everything the pictures showeubd.

  • 3 of 5

The condo was beautiful and well equipped with all the essentials needed during our stay. The views from all three balconies was stunning. The highlight was the wildlife we saw at least everyday if not twice a day. The white faced monkeys were an early morning visit and again in the evenings. We even had the spider monkeys playing in the trees on several afternoons. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and afternoon snacks, and dinner but we chose to enjoy the local restaurants, There were plenty of towels, blankets, beach towels and a nice size cooler to carry food for the beach. The beds we found very comfortable and there is abundance of closet space and storage. There are plenty of good restaurants in Manual Antonio. Victoria's and Avion were two favorites. Quepos has a farmers market on Friday and Saturday located by the beach with wonderful selection of local fruits and veggies. It looked pleasant and very busy with many people around so we stopped on our way to the condo. BEWARE DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR CAR! We stopped there in the later afternoon for some things for a week stay. We were only gone for 15 mins or so. We came back to our car with a broken window and many of our things were gone. We were very careful the previous 3 days and unfortunately let our guard down for just a few minutes and it cost us dearly . we were told that this is a regular occurrence in that area of Quepos, We were also told they don't put signs up because they don't want to scare tourist. I would have appreciated the warning. Overall we felt safe were ever we went, petty theft is really the biggest issue and if you don't leave any valuables in your car it will be fine. Manual Antonio National Park was okay for a visit although it does get packed and beware of people stopping you before getting to entrance and saying the parking is full and please park at there location. It is a scam to get you to pay them for parking. I head read about it in someone elses right up and someone did attempt to do it to us. When we got to the entrance there was plenty of parking. If your looking for a nice quite beach, we traveled south down to Uvita and it was beautiful and less people. I usually never put negative things in a review because I am not a negative person, But I honestly wanted to prevent someone else experiencing my misfortune. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

Fantastic View!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Shana #310 with our 3 kids, ages 13, 10, and 10, at the end of March. The view of the Pacific is amazing. The rooms were very spacious and the unit had modern features. The location is secure and quiet. Be aware the walk to the shops and restaurants on the main street is a steep walk. My husband and boys did it one day, but I would recommend a car/taxi. The restaurant and bar on the property is a nice benefit. We would definitely stay here again.
