Mount Baker Condo Rental Photos and Description

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 3-4)

This Snowater Condo is the closest accommodations to Mt. Baker Ski Area. The condo is tucked away in the Mt Baker National Forest, on the shores of the Nooksack River. New hardwood floors in the living room, which is decorated in my own personal local photography. The one bedroom condo features a double bed, that can easily sleep two, and two pull out beds in the living room. You can comfortably sleep 4 people in the condo. The condo is also equipped with a 32' flat screen, Iphone dock, and DVD player. There are plenty of activities to and facilities to entertain the whole family. Tennis, racquetball, basketball(indoor and out), indoor swimming pool, with hot tub, hiking trails, and of course world class skiing in the winter, and amazing hiking and sightseeing in the summer.

About The Owner

I am a professional snowboard photographer that has lived in the Whatcom county area since '96. I gravitated towards Baker because of its reputation of deep snow, and small lift lines.... over the years it's still the same, minus the small lift lines on the weekends, but that's what happens when things become popular. I purchased the condo in hopes of living in Glacier someday, but my business thrives off of being connected and communicating at all times. That being said, this is why I love Glacier so much, because you can disconnect from the outside world, and just relax. I hope you enjoy my condo as much as I have, and pray for deep snow!

Why The Owner chose Mount Baker

I purchased the condo in hopes of living in Glacier someday, but my business thrives off of being connected and communicating at all times. That being said, this is why I love Glacier so much, because you can disconnect from the outside world, and just relax. I hope you enjoy my condo as much as I have, and pray for deep snow!

What makes this condo unique

Snowater is a comforting, relaxing place to be. You can try out some of the local restaurants, and there is a new pizza joint within walking distance. If you are a homebody, I have the place outfitted with everything you need to cook a great meal. Curl up on the sofa and watch a movie, or take a dip in the indoor pool. There are endless things to do at Snowater, but what you should be doing is going up to the best mountain in the world, and take the scenery while making deep powder turns!

this place is okay. My biggest complaint is the bed is ancient. I had to take it off of the boxspring and put it on the floor so that my husband and I did not roll into the middle. owner easy to work with but place needs a little TLC to say the least.

Great 5 day stay

  • 5 of 5

For the price you aren't t going to find a cleaner, everything you need or want to do place to stay. The trails to hike were great and well maintained. To be so close to the river was fantastic and the smell of pine all the time was so refreshing. The rec center and pool was immaculate and very inviting. Owner was super easy to work with. The whole experience couldn't t be beat!!

Great Little Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

First of all the owner was very easy to work with. This condo was basic but provided everything we needed to prepare meals and sleep comfortably. The property grounds are fantastic. My girls enjoyed the pool/hot tub area each day and were albe to ride bikes along the river. This complex is quiet and felt safe. LOVED the small town of Glacier! The surrounding area hikes were BEAUTIFUL. We enjoyed fishing on a nearby resort called SilverLake. I would love to be back in the winter. We had so much fun!

Great location to Baker

  • 4 of 5

This condo has all the basics that one might need, and while it's no frills & dated, the price was reasonable & fair for what you get. Our group of three (one adult & 2 kids age 9&11) were quite comfortable and truly enjoyed all the amenities that the complex has to offer. It's a quiet beautiful setting with lots to do. We used the tennis courts and the pool a few times, and wish we had brought our pickleball gear for the sport court. It's a perfect location for hiking or skiing/snowboarding & we would definitely stay again. The owner is easy to contact & easy to deal with.

Great location for summer hiking

  • 4 of 5

I wanted to hike in the Mt Baker area. For close access, you can not beat this condo. Everything was provided for a pleasant stay. While there was no cell service, I found the internet access in the clubhouse was more than adequate to check emails and the internet though a bit slow. The setting on the Nooksack River was beautiful. Along with the Mt Baker hikes, there was a wonderful trail (Horseshoe Bend) less than a mile down the road. This condo was a great headquarters for my weekend of hiking.

Great Mt. Baker Location

  • 4 of 5

Pretty much as close as you can get to Mt. Baker for lodging. Condo was exactly as described in the listing: cozy, clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the amenities for a fun weekend of boarding (indoor community hot tub was key!). Had no trouble at all from inquiry to departure... great location, great value, great stay! Highly recommend!
