I have vacationed in Palm Springs for the past 10 years and it is my favorite place. I have rented many homes in Palm Springs from several different agencies and this home BY FAR is the best I have ever stayed at. The location was excellent, the property was clean and well cared for. The owners met us at the home, gave us a tour, had the music on, fresh flowers in the vases, wine, cookies, waters etc. ready and available for us. Perfect!
I have allready recommended this home to a friend and I will never look for another home to rent as long as this one is available.
Regarding places to eat, they are all good but I really like Shermans (great deli) and Shame on the Moon ( fabulous dinners in Rancho Mirage) don't miss Blame it on Midnight (fun supper club-not to be missed)
The house is fantastic, great location, charming and very comfortable.
The owners, Robert and Jamie, went beyond their obligation to make sure all was fine. From the 1st day to our last they were checking with us if we needed anything.
One of the highlights was picking grapefruit and lemons from the trees by the swimming pool and at night looking at the moon and stars, I guess the wine helped a bit!!!
Thank you R and J for taking us for breakfast, dinner, making us laugh and showing us around Palm Springs.
We can go on and on how much we loved our vacation...
For sure we'll see you again.
Keep well and thanks for the memories!

If you want to "live" Palm Springs we recommend this home highly.
My husband and I, and our 8 yr old Australian Shepard, have been warmly welcomed into this charming home for 3 seasons now. The first year for 3 months, the second for 5 months and again this year for 3 months. Friends and family stay with us here. Comfortable for 6.
The owners, who manage the home themselves, go well beyond the norm to make us comfortable. They are accessible, attentive and helpful - we have made two new friends!
There are a lot of choices of rental homes in P.S. This one is as described, mid-century vintage, clean, comfortable and cozy, nice pool - extra charge for heating typ. - well priced.
In an excellent, convenient location.Close enough to downtown P.S. to walk or bike, yet in one of P.S. most beautiful and quiet neighborhoods. Down the street to grocery shopping and other real life necessities.
We enjoy all P.S. has to offer. Red Jeep tours are terrific for the whole family. Hiking is nearby in Indian Canyon, Tahquitz Canyon, and on the "Bump and Grind".
Public golf course near at Mesquite, Indian Canyon and Escena. Mini golf for kids too.
Great down-the-street dining and nightlife at the Purple Room and Tinto, lunch at Palm Greens and Native Foods organic cafes and, of course, pancakes and BLT's at Elmer's. Don't miss the new Patisserie with better bread and croissants than you can get in Paris! All, and more, within 5 - 15 minutes walk.
We've tried almost every restaurant in downtown Palm Springs. Our favorite is dinner and music at Tropicale both inside and on the patio. We love the varied menu and relaxed atmosphere at Kaiser Grille, the patio at Jake's for lunch and dinner and Cheeky's for breakfast. ,
"Happy Hour" - many of the restaurants have excellent ones (Matchbox, Trio, Kaiser Grille, Tropicale). And don't forget cocktails and dancing at the long time Palm Springs hideaway, Melvyn's. We hear new Copa is fun too.
Great movie theatres (3) nearby, live programs at the Annenberg and McCallum, Wonderful Palm Springs Art museum (free Thursday eve), interesting architecture and history.
We enjoy January Palm Springs Film Festival, and tour local homes and gardens during Modernism Week in Feb. Go online to buy tickets in advance of visit!
Thurs eve. stroll Palm Springs market on Palm Canyon Drive.
Lots to do, yet very relaxing..
My son and I stayed here last year during his Spring Break from school. We had the most fantastic trip and Robert thought of absolutely everything. We didn't even need to go to the store right away - cold drinks and munchies already in the kitchen waiting for us when we arrived.
The pool is magical and coming from Vancouver where there is NO bougainvillia - the wall of it hanging just by the pool was unbelievable - like paradise. LOVED the fact that we saw about 15 humming birds a minute out by the pool - so incredible...and the grapefruit trees...lots of grapefruit!
I am about to book another trip to stay here right NOW! I loved the showers too by the way...so 50's and fun! The house is so comfortable and exactly as described.
Thanks for everything you guys!
A & J
the listing description was 100% accurate, the layout and amenities were much more than we expected. Robert (the owner) had thought of virtually every comfort for the home, with cold drinks in the refrigerator, and pastries. Very warm welcome.
The property was spotless, clean, and very well maintained.
We would definitely stay here again (and intend to) and would recommend it to a friend or relative.
We enjoyed Spencer's (restaurant recommended by Robert), The Falls (restaurant), Lou Lous (restaurant), the street fair and the pool! We felt right at home in the house and never wanted to leave!
My husband and I and another couple stayed in this beautiful, clean retro home in a lovely area of palm springs.
We had a fabulous time and Robert, the owner could not have been nicer. He met us the night we arrived and had lovely touches waiting for us including food and drinks to get us started in the morning and Frank Sinatra music plaing and the lights were on in the pool. It was everything we could have imagined. Robert gave us a tour and his number was there incase we needed anything. it is a very safe neighbourhood close to downtown. The pool was great. We picked lemons and grapefruit off the trees in the back yard Everythig was there all we needed to do was buy food,It was closed to stores and about a 5 minute driver to downtown. You do need a car. We enjoyed eating the Kaiser Grille, and for mexican food we went to the Blue Coyote. Great live entertainment at Tony's
We would definitely stay there again and thankyou for making our holiday so wonderful
