My wife and I both worked for IBM from which I retired the year we designed and built this home on beautiful Lake Keowee. We have four children and 10 grandchildren. Sandra is still working as a travel agent and we spend a lot of our time traveling. We also spend several months in Mexico every year. So we decided that we should share our little corner of paradise. We hope that you will come and enjoy our home and have a wonderful vacation.
The Owner purchased this house in 1993
Thank you for sharing your home. It is absolutely beautiful. We appreciated the gift basket and the information basket.
After our son returned from his mission trip during his Clemson Spring break your home was the perfect solution. Allowing us to spend time together while he recovered and rested. We were able to provide him with home booked meals and beautiful sunsets.
We are so thankful you opened your home to our family. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you.
Thank you for a wonderful stay at your lake house. The weather was great, we rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed tubing and knee boarding - first time for some of us to conquer getting up on the knee board
We hiked the Table Rock trail the last day It is a beautiful overlook at the top but it is literally almost all climbing up rocks. stairs, tree roots the entire way - 3.5 miles one way. A real accomplishment to do this bring lots of water!
We enjoyed the lovely sunsets and kayaks - so fun to paddle around the islands.
Thank you for the lovely gift basket - it was very much appreciated.
Overall we had a wonderful stay - great family time at a beautiful place.
Love your house, the bbq along with the fabulous views. The yellow and blue kayaks took us on adventures around Lake Keowee, then we beached ourselves, took the noodles and rode the boat waves.
We went north, south, east and west but could not decide which we liked best. Drove back to the point to swing and watch different happenings.
Wish we could stay to explore other tn
things. Time to go, so thanks for everything.

After reading the description of your home, after viewing the pictures, after reading the reviews, I had high expectations!
Now after a week at your home I can truly say - my expectations were exceeded! Every aspect of your home - the beauty, the serenity, the openness , the warmth, the layout, the convenience - is marvelous.

Hi Wayne and Sandra
Unfortunately we have to leave tomorrow after two wonderful weeks at your house. We were blessed with beautiful fall weather - sunny warm days and cool nights. There are so many beautiful national forests, state parks and waterfalls in the area. We enjoyed the hiking and natural beauty that northern South Carolina has to offer. The best part was coming back to your home every evening for a magnificent sunset. We have a son in law who graduated from Clemson University so it was nice to drive through the campus. The botanical gardens were wonderful. We went back a second day just to do bird watching. One day we drove an hour to northern Georgia to visit the Tallulah Gorge State Park - breathtaking! Of course the best part of South Carolina is the southern hospitality. We loved the people and the area.
