Beautiful views. Close to Sequoia Park and Lake Kaweah and other day hiking. Peace and quite.
We stayed there for a couple days in June 2016. Amazing attention to detail in all the features of the cabin. It feels very luxurious and the views are incredible. There is plenty of space to relax and make you feel at home. The hummingbirds were fun to watch in the late afternoon. It's just a short drive to Sequoia National Park. Vince is a very gracious host and made sure we had everything we needed. This cabin is one of the nicest rentals we have stayed at!
This cabin is so amazing! We stayed for a week and had an amazing time. The cabin itself is beautiful, with any appliance you could ever need in the kitchen. It’s spacious, and the views are breathtaking. We loved watching hummingbirds every morning while eating breakfast outside. We eloped in the Sequoia National Park for an amazing outdoor ceremony, and this cabin was perfectly located (basically as close as you can get to the forest without camping in the mountains). Perfect place to stay for anyone exploring the Sequoia forest!
This cottage (small house, really) has everything. It is beautifully made and furnished, the setting is private with lovely plantings, a view of rolling hills and snow capped mountains, it is quiet..with only the rushing river and chirping of birds audible. The kitchen and pantry have everything one could want. The bed is comfortable, sheets and towels of good quality.
Vince and Maya were great, helpful and available. They gave us good advice about food shopping in Visalia on our way to Three Rivers.
Sequoia View is the ideal location for anyone who needs some quiet time away from the city. The view from the living room is spectacular. Birds will join you for your morning coffee and you can enjoy the afternoon sun on the patio. Evenings are quiet and surprisingly mild. We rarely left the cabin, but for those who venture out, Three Rivers is charming and the Sequoias are well, go see for yourself. The cabin is nicely appointed, but what was especially surprising was how thoughtful the owners were in terms of anticipating their guests' every need. Small things, such as a fully supplied kitchen and cozy throws were an extra touch that we appreciated. The cabin and grounds are impeccably maintained. We're looking forward to another visit in the spring.
The Sequoia View Cottage is definitely one of the most wonderful, quiet and authentic places we’ve ever visited.
Super-clean, nice furniture and decoration, high quality materials, spacious, bright, cosy, quiet, and very comfortable. The house is located amidst of nature, which was a great experience.
We enjoyed Maya & Vince’s warm welcome and hospitality.
Having breakfast in the sun at a time of year when Belgium is already covered with fog and rain clouds, truly felt miraculous.
Even ironing was never before such a delightful experience as in the porch, surrounded by the sounds of nature awakening. We would love to come back and stay a little longer then.
Thank you so much, Vince & Maya!

We stayed at the Sequoia View Cottage with our two daughters. All four of us loved coming home to this cabin after our daily adventures. It was a quick drive to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon. Highlights were swimming at Slick Rock, horseback riding lesson down the road, swimming at Potwashi, and the delightful meals enjoyed on the lovely patio. The cabin is amazingly private, close to nature, and beautifully decorated. Vince and Maya went out of there way multiple times with excursion tips, fresh fruit deliveries, and letting our daughters visit and feed the horses. We would LOVE to return!
Sequoia National Park is minutes away. Giant Forest and the huge Sequoias are on hour away. Lake Kaweah is also minutes away. With boat rentals, fishing and water fun.
***WE RECOMMEND THAT THE IDEAL TIME TO BOOK YOUR VISIT TO OUR AREA IS DURING THE WEEK … THIS WILL PROVIDE FOR YOU A QUIETER TOWN IN GENERAL AND LESS OF A CROWD IN THE NATIONAL PARK …
