Beautiful view of the city lights of Petoskey at night. Farm scenery and wildlife. Starry sky at night. Very close to Nubs Nob and Boyne Resorts. Only 30 miles from Mackinaw City. Quiet and spacious place to rest and relax
We are so glad that you and your family enjoyed yourselves at our rental. We are happy to know that you had everything you needed too, except warm, sunny weather. The rain soccer was a new twist on the game.
We hope your next visit will be warm and sunny and hopefully you can enjoy a nice campfire too!

We had a group of 9 adults stay here over night on a ski-trip. Short drive to Boyne Highlands. House was very nice and slept everyone comfortably. Nice fire pit outside with outdoor chairs provided (in garage). The stars were amazing as we sat around the fire. Not many neighbors around. Mardelle was very kind & organized and made the booking process simple. Highly recommended. Hope to come back again when it's warmer to play some volleyball.
This house is a hidden gem, I am so glad I found it! It's very clean, and has almost everything you will need. There is a big gas grill, a volleyball court, and a fire pit in the backyard. And the owner provides the firewood. Sitting around the fire and toasting some marshmallow is definitely a highlight of the stay. Bills farm market is like less than 1 mile away, and it's less than 10 min's drive to the downtown area and the lake.
our group of 8 adults stayed here for a weekend while riding the little traverse wheelway trail. What a delight to arrive and find such a clean and inviting house for us all! Lots of room and everything you need is here. There is a large gas grill and a great fire pit which we used both nights. Thanks to owner Carl for supplying us with all the firewood we could use. We enjoyed hanging out here so much the second night we chose to come back to the house after riding all day and just relax around the fire. And watch the MSU game on the big screen downstairs! It really was the perfect place for us and I could have stayed another week.
Also thanks to Mardelle, Carl's wife who made the whole rental process easy and stress free.
Our entire group would definitely stay here again and would encourage others to do so too!
8 of us stayed here for a wedding at the Stafford's Perry downtown. It was literally a 7 minute drive to get there, but you wouldn't know it when you're at the house. With only a few houses nearby, the view consisted mainly of an expansive treeline and fields. We were only able to stay for 2 days and 2 nights because of some hectic schedules, but I wish we were there for a week.
The house is basically 2 full rentals: An upstairs with 3 bedrooms/2 baths, and a downstairs with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Both floors have a kitchen and a living room, so it would work well for 2 full families, or just a big group of friends like we had. I was surprised to see how much they had in the cabinets. Just bring food, because they have all the utensils and serving-ware you'd need. We had very little time to just sit around, but the big living room downstairs had a big TV and enough seating for all of us. There's no A/C, but there's enough fans for every room and a ton of open-able windows, so it wasn't bad.
I'd never rented a big place before so I was hesitant, but If I'm ever up there again with a big group, I'd absolutely stay here again.
This house really wowed us. The location was fabulous - we loved the quick drive to Petoskey State Park and the beach there. When we came back, the house was a perfect place to relax. The foosball was a favorite, as well as s'mores at the fire pit. Upstairs, the large dining table was the perfect place for endless euchre games, and the downstairs was really a complete separate apartment which created a great teen hang out for the older kids. We were struck by the owners' thoughtful touches, including a well-stocked kitchen and many chairs for lounging outside. It is also very clean, which we really appreciated. We were all sad to leave. Thank you so much!
Our daughter was getting married in Petoskey and we rented this vacation home. It easily fit 10 of us and was large enough to feel you had space, and were not on top of each other. This is a great place, exceptionally clean, and has everything you need. My husband really loved the country atmosphere, and yet it was close enough to town. If we go back to Petoskey we would definitely rent this again!! You can't go wrong!
