We took a family vacation to Charleston after Christmas and stayed at this property. We loved the open space in the house. My daughter (23) especially loved the hammock on the front porch. This house was very clean and roomy for 7 people. I would recommend this house to anyone who plans to visit the Charleston area. It was much better than staying in a hotel! We really enjoyed having a Christmas tree in the house too. We are thinking about coming back next year if possible. Thanks for sharing your victorian house with us. Janice and Gary Morris
We loved the home. Our favorite part was being on the large screened back porch day and night. Stunning! We’ve stayed on the boardwalk for many years and being at this house was a pleasant treat to not have to climb several flights of stairs to get to all the bedrooms.
Great place to stay for a few nights in town
My groomsmen and I stayed 3 nights for my wedding weekend. We were very happy with the property. Comfortable shared living space and great place to hang out.
Clean, beautiful porches. Nice location. We were there for my daughters engagement.
Close to the boardwalk and we were able to use all the amenities they offer. My only suggestion to improve on would be the mattresses.
A week at the beach.
House was very nice but needed a few items repaired. Such as one ceiling fan in bunk bed room, fan over table in the screened porch and the oven didn't reach the correct temp.
All in all we enjoyed our family get together.
Have to say that I am very surprised by the review. These are family friends of my in-laws. My in-laws went over to visit them and they said they were thoroughly enjoying the house (this was on day 4 of their vacation) The owner touched base with them in the middle of the week and told them to please let her know of anything that was wrong. They left a note for the owner when they left saying the oven was not heating to temp. This had just been addressed right before they arrived and repairman said it was fixed (We could have called him back immediately instead of waiting a week). Again, the renters also left a note saying the fan in bunk-room did not work - it has since been replaced. Again, this could have been taken care of immediately instead of waiting until they left to tell us. While we do appreciate reviews and letting us know when something is not right, I do not understanding waiting until the end of the trip to mention anything and then posting a negative review. Beth
The air conditioner can't cool the back bedroom with the bunk beds. Needs a separate wall unit.
