This very clean and beautiful three bedroom, two bathroom condo is ideally located at the junction of the 101 and 202 Freeways (Tempe and Mesa border) and 2 miles from the junction of the 101 and 60 Freeways. This convenient location is just ten minutes from Sky Harbor Airport and the Phoenix Zoo. There are two outdoor malls within a short distance (Tempe Marketplace is one mile and Mesa Riverview is two miles) that feature state-of-the-art shopping and dining experiences. Arizona State University is five minutes away, featuring Tempe Town Lake (site of the Arizona Ironman event), world famous Mill Avenue, college football (site of the Cactus Bowl), Gammage Auditorium, restaurants, performing arts, museums, and shopping. The condo is also five minutes from Scottsdale (including the renowned Fifth Avenue Shops, Fashion Square Mall, and several casual and fine dining restaurants), and five minutes from Chandler (including Chandler Fashion Square with upscale shopping and restaurants).
You are also located 1/2 mile from the new Cubs Spring Training complex, and within ten minutes of four other Spring Training sites (Giants, Angels, A's and Rockies/Diamondbacks), 15 minutes from downtown Phoenix (featuring Major League Baseball, NBA, WNBA, Arena Football) cultural and performing arts, shopping, and restaurants). University of Phoenix Stadium, home of the NFL Arizona Cardinals and site of the Fiesta Bowl is also located a 30 minute drive from our condo, and the TPC of Scottsdale, site of the Phoenix Open golf tournament is 20 minutes away. In addition, you are ten minutes from two Casinos, the Butterfly Wonderland (America's largest butterfly atrium), and Top Golf (the premier entertainment and event venue in Scottsdale with fun point-scoring golf games for all skill levels, upscale bar food and drinks, music and more!). For the golf enthusiasts, there are more than 150 golf courses in the Phoenix metropolitan area (considered the golf capital of the world), many within a few minutes of our condo. You are also 30 minutes from scenic Saguaro Lake, five hours to the Grand Canyon and two hours to Sedona.
The 1100 square foot, newly remodeled one story condo has Italian tile throughout and many other amenities. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, flatscreen cable High Def TV, DVD/BlueRay player with Netflix, a desk and computer with HIGH SPEED internet access and wireless router for laptop computers, ceiling fan, vaulted ceiling and a sound machine. The master bathroom has a shower and Kohler 17' Comfort Height toilet. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and vaulted ceiling. The third bedroom has two twin beds. The beautifully remodeled main bathroom includes a bathtub with a shower, vanity with Carrara marble top and a Kohler 17' Comfort Height toilet. There is also a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room. The living room has a fireplace, ceiling fan, vaulted ceiling, flatscreen cable High Def TV, VHS/DVD/BlueRay player with Netflix, stereo with CD player, and southwest flair! The kitchen includes all cooking utensils and appliances, including dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc. Other amenities include a private patio with gas barbecue, large capacity washer and dryer, pet bowls, two covered parking spaces, and just a short walk to the pool and Jacuzzi!! No Smoking please.
You will not find a more central location to access the many cities, events, and activities throughout the Valley of the Sun!
I have stayed in many condos in the Phoenix area for spring training and this was one of my best. There were a few minor issues while we were there and Alan came over and got things taken care of right away. Very safe and clean location.
I moved to Phoenix for work and was lucky enough to find this property and the owners on Craigslist. The property was very clean when I arrived and tastefully appointed! There was even a binder with information on where the locals groceries stores are, local restaurants, entertainment, and even a Safeway & Frys card. I can't say enough good things about the property itself. I have lived there for 3 months and I wish I could have been there longer. This was the perfect spot for me and my dog and was close to ASU, Giants Spring training, Tempe Marketplace, and Mill Ave.The landlord and his wife worked with me on everything I needed and were very responsive. I have had a myriad of landlords in the last 5 years, and they were unequivocally the best I have experienced. This condo provided an excellent location for my stay to participate in Ironman AZ. The location of the condo was only minutes away from Ironman Village and downtown Tempe. The condo itself was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The owner went out of his way to ensure my needs were met during my stay.
We had a great time. Condo was beautiful and had all the amenities. All the comforts of home away from home. Location is fabulous as you just get right on the highway just to the right of the driveway out of the neighborhood. But you can't hear highway noise at the house. Anyway, I have nothing bad to say about my stay. It was great.
We stayed at this condo while visiting my oldest son who lives in the area. There were five of us -- myself, husband, 19-year old daughter, 24-year old son and a friend of his -- so the 3 bedrooms and 2 baths worked perfectly. The location was centrally convenient to airport, Cubs spring training game, and my son's place in Scottsdale. We used the pool every day which was right across the street. The condo was easy to get to and in a very quiet neighborhood. It was very comfortable for all six of us to hang out and watch NCAA basketball. Great place!
I would definately recommend this condo for those of you in the area. I was partaking in the Ironman AZ event and found the condo to be ideal for this event in particular! You are very close to the airport if need be, downtown tempe is just blocks away and freeway access is very near. The condo is cute and quaint, dog friendly, quiet, clean.....the property manager is very friendly, available and organized!
The new Chicago Cubs spring training complex is located 1/2 mile from our condo...within walking distance!!
