Condo, 1 Bedroom + Loft, 2 baths, (Sleeps 6-8)

Update July 2016: Our goal is to keep your vacation costs to a minimum. We’ve chosen to not use the VRBO online booking which adds more fees to your vacation. (VRBO says "The service fee averages 6–7% and doesn’t exceed 9% of total rental price.") We accept 1) personal checks with verification, 2) free, secure bank-to-bank transfers with the clearxchange.com system, and 3) PayPal credit card payments.

1 bedroom plus sleeping loft, 2 bathrooms. Sleeper sofa.

Super comfortable, clean, upgraded condo. Three skylights and window seats with tall windows in the dining area distinguish our condo from others in the complex. New: retractable shade for the big skylight above the loft beds -- for our guests who want to sleep past sunrise.

Our condo is perfect for families who love the outdoors, mountain restaurants and nightlife.

Washer, dryer and laundry detergent in our condo -- so you can start each day fresh for all that outdoor activity. Hair dryers, shampoo, conditioners, lotions in both baths.

We provide a full stack of firewood and kindling for our new EPA quick-starting fireplace.

Best sleeping area? It may be the loft with stripped-log beds and skylights (including one in the shower). The master bedroom is comfortable, also.

All beds -- including our sleeper-sofa by the fireplace -- have memory foam and down pillows.

The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking full meals. In summer, there's a large propane BBQ outside with a picnic table. Crockpot - 6 qt. - choose one of our chili or slow-cooker recipes. Throw in your ingredients on low before bed, or in the morning. When you come back, dinner's ready.

Coffee (dark roast, regular, decaf), tea (black, green, white, herbal), hot chocolate, oatmeal and popcorn always in the cabinets. Spices, sugar, creamer.

Free secure internet/Wi-Fi in the condo. Bring your laptop, iPad, iPod, MP3 and stream music through our Logitech speakers. HD/TV for your game system.

Checkers, chess, cards, games, poker chips, plenty of family DVDs and books available all for your evening enjoyment.

The free Mammoth shuttle is at the end of our driveway, taking you all around town and to the mountain lodges. We're on the Green Line in winter heading straight to Eagle Lodge in approximately 6-8 minutes. Or drive to Eagle Lodge in less than 5 minutes. Connect to the other free shuttle lines if you're heading to Main or Canyon Lodges.

In summer/fall, we're on the free Purple shuttle line that goes all around town and to the Village and connects to all other free shuttles.

Super oversized Jacuzzi (16 jets) outdoors and covered - open all year. Sauna open all year. Heated pool and tennis courts open in the summer and early fall.

Billiards, ping pong a short walk away in our rec center.

Free, lit exterior parking immediately below our entrance. Locked ski/board closet next to our entrance door.

Regarding reviews: we never ask for reviews or use reviews from friends, neighbors, relatives. We just do our best to treat guests like we'd like to be treated. A vacation should be special. :)

NOTE: We've had requests for reservations in the upcoming 2016-17 ski/holiday season. Thanks for your patience. We'll probably keep last season's rates: Christmas/New Year's rate of $300/night; MLK and President's weekend rate of $260/night.

What makes this condo unique

We like being walking distance to town while still being secluded in tall pines -- you can walk to Vons, the movie theater, Roberto's Mexican, Grumpy's, Rafters, etc. The summer and winter free shuttle route is at the end of our driveway -- hop on and head to the Village, up the Mountain, out to the lakes area.

Awesome Owner and EXCELLENT Condo!

The reviews are all right, Colleen is by the far the most attentive host I've ever worked with. She makes sure you're getting what you paid for and then some! Her response time is unbeaten too. The condo itself is very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. It's a great deal for a great place. I highly recommend it!!

Great place for family/friends

Our family of three hit up Mammoth for a late Spring Break in mid April. The condo was great, most well stocked rental we have ever stayed in! The owner is very responsive, answered our few questions right away. The reservation/rental process was very easy and clear. We enjoyed the proximity to the mountain and village, but also really liked the opportunity to leave that all behind and enjoy a few nights in with a movie and cocoa. The ski closet was great for stashing wet gear and the Jacuzzi was a must stop every evening. The bird feeder... oh my gosh. I have never enjoyed watching birds so much! Great way to start the day with a cup of coffee and the breakfast crowd at the feeder. My husband has already asked that I keep this condo for the next time we visit. No trouble convincing me... we'll be back!

AWESOME Condo, GREAT location, WONDERFUL Owner

Stayed in this little gem for my young son's Spring Break last week, what a wonderful find! This condo is so lovely and cozy, we felt right at home. The condo's location is perfect, close to skiing, shops and restaurants and the complex it self has a lot of fun things to do: jacuzzi, pool table and ping pong table. Colleen the owner is a GEM!!! She makes sure your stay is enjoyable and stocks the kitchen with goodies and has tons of games to play. She is by far the BEST owner I have dealt with on VRBO, she actually reached out to us during our stay to see if everything was okay! I love this place and I love Colleen...I will be coming back soon, make room for me Colleen!!! P.S. Colleen leaves bird feed for the feeders hanging on the balcony...we filled them and watch the beauty that arrives to fed....WOW!

Perfect condo--truly the best place to stay in Mammoth!

I stayed here last week with my husband and three children (aged 6-9). I have been visiting Mammoth just about every year since I was a child, and this condo was by far my favorite. In fact, other family members stayed in nearby condos and we all agreed this place is the best. It's updated tastefully, very light with lots of natural sunlight, and completely stocked with everything you might need. My favorite feature by far was the washer and dryer, what a difference that made! Colleen really cares about her guests and she was in touch with me by Email before and during my stay just to see if I needed anything. She also sent me a really detailed and helpful Email with details on gas prices for the drive to Mammoth as well as hiking/biking trails and just about anything else you might need to know about spending your vacation in Mammoth. I hope to stay here again next year. Thank you again for everything Colleen!

Great Place-Great Owner

I have been a repeat customer of Colleen's place for several years. In Mammoth, there's plenty of choices for accommodations. I keep coming back to Colleen's place for several reasons. The location is convienient, the price is awesome, the place is spacious, comfortable and well appointed. And the biggest reason is Colleen is by far the BEST owner I have rented from. She always makes sure your stay is a enjoyable. Customer service is a high standard with Colleen. Thanks Colleen for being so awesome!

Great condo and super helpful owner

This condo is very clean and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed plus a lot more. The beds were very comfortable. My young children loved the community center (especially the spa and ping pong table).

I agree with other reviewers about the owner. Colleen was very helpful and accommodating. I booked the condo three days before our trip. We emailed/called back and forth but the dealing was pleasant and the booking process went smoothly. I highly recommend this condo and hope to come back again.

Refundable security deposit of $250; promptly returned if no damage or loss.

The taxes are required by the Town of Mammoth Lakes: 13% TOT (Transient Occupancy Tax) and 1% TBID (Tourism Business Improvement District). We collect the tax from you and submit it monthly to the Town of Mammoth Lakes. Our Business License and Tax Certificate information are available on the Town's website; see "Business Tax and Registration."

Spring 2016: We've had requests for reservations in the upcoming 2016-17 ski/holiday season. Thanks for your patience -- we haven't yet posted rates and haven't taken reservations that far ahead. We'll likely post those rates in mid-summer 2016 or early fall.

We're happy to accept checks with verification. Or you can do a free secure checking account transfer to our Chase account if you bank at Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, US Bank or First Bank (they share a free secure clearXchange system). If you prefer to use your credit card, PayPal will add their 2.9% fee + $0.30; your $250 security deposit incurs no PayPal fee when we return it to you.
