Stunning view from lakefront property on 40,000 acre pristine Greers Ferry Lake with 330 mile of shoreline. Private access to the lake - there is private staircase (it's about 200 steps - so walk at your own risk) to the lake. World championship fishing. The lake holds the walleye world record. Spend the day boating, waterskiing, inner tubing, or cliff jumping. Boat over to Sugar Loaf Mountain and hike to the top for even more amazing views of the lake and mountains. Ferry available at nearby marina. The cliff jumping is a short drive from the house, or you can get there by boat. The cliffs are different heights so children and adults of all ages can enjoy jumping.
Fairfield Bay also has the number one rated public golf course in the state and a second golf course which is challenging with beautiful views.
After a day on the lake, relax on the huge private deck overlooking the lake. Cook out on the gas grill. Relax in the hot tub, big enough for six, located right outside the master suite in secluded corner of deck. Enjoy the gorgeous sunsets over the lake. Don't be surprised to see deer and fox walking down the roads as you approach the house.
Bring your boat - you can either keep it in the driveway, or call the marina and they can rent you a slip for the weekend or week. The Fairfield Bay Marina is a short drive from the home. Also, there is a free boat ramp walking distance from the house.
If you are here in late fall and winter, you can come inside and warm up at the gas starting fireplace.

Location, Location, Location. There is no better view of Greers Ferry Lake. It's perched on a bluff overlooking the pristine lake.
The view is stunning. The swimming, boating & fishing are perfect. The home is close to the marina to rent a boat and go, go, go. The town is quaint. I love the home with a lovely great room keeping the family together including my teenagers who can't wait to go back.
We spent Thanksgiving at this Fairfield Bay property with our twenty something daughter and son and their significant others. The highlight of this property is the view of Greer's Ferry Lake from the living room, deck or hot tub on the deck. Our family is very active and there are lots of activities near the home. There is a wonderful 2 mile hike just up the street that goes back to a beautiful ravine with 2 seasonal waterfalls. There is a boat ramp 1/2 mile from the house which we used to launch kayaks and paddle the arm of the lake that the house is perched atop. And of course it was a treat to come back to a hot tub after our various adventures. Inside the home is exactly as advertised - 3 bedrooms and a bonus room that comfortably sleep 8 with cable TV and internet. Sol, the owner was very responsive via email whenever we had questions. To sum it up this home was perfect for our active family.
We had a great time. It was better than advertised. We were lucky to find it available on such short notice.
We rented this nicely furnished home for 5 days and 4 nights. The layout of the kitchen and living room lend themselves to entertaining. I love to cook and so was still able to feel apart of all the goings on. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cookware. My husband and I enjoyed morning coffee on the deck. The view of the lake is spectacular. It was so fun listening to the birds and seeing cardinals once again. Our grandsons and son had a great time swimming in the lake. My youngest grandson counted all 209 steps down to the lake. There is a well stocked grocery store on the north side of town. One night we all watched the DVD "On Golden Pond". It just seemed so appropriate to this home. Thanks so much for sharing this with all of us.
We should have been more concerned that there are only two reviews....
The view is Great, and for those of you into Granite Countertertops, this house will make your simplicities H A P P Y
The rooms are tiny, with low popcorn ceilings, and without absolutely any view minus one "Master" which has a caving in Queen bed. The linens are simply awful; our 20 year old daughter had a back ache even after our morning run from the awful bed in the small twins...
You Must bring your own fans; they have the air remotely set, we all sweat all weekend, to the point, my senior citizen parents almost left... we sweat our entire visit. And last but definitely not least, we cleaned the floors twice before we were comfortable... They were absolutely filthy as well the commodes were'nt filthy, but definitely were not clean... And there are NO toiletries...
We could not get over the view! The property was clean and well maintained. The lake is amazing with clear warm water for swimming and tubing. The kids loved cliff jumping. There were a million stars at night visible from the hot tub.
