Awesome Place To Stay
We have stayed at the Rose Lake Resort many times. It never ceases to amaze us the beautiful area it is around there. We saw eagles, osprey, quails with their babies, turkeys, and many other kids of birds. We also saw moose, a deer and a fawn not too old either, and down the road a cinnamon black bear ran across the road in front of us. The area was plush with green grass everywhere. Such a relaxing place. Would highly recommend this VRBO. Thanks, John!!!!
Thank you Rindi for staying here. You kept the place so nice too. Also, the bag of fish guts you left where you said, had to have been 25 pounds. Glad the bears didn't beat me to it. Just kidding. Not many bear around these parts, they stay in the hills where they belong. What fisherman you are. I hope you were able to eat some here before you left.
Thanks for being such a good guest and friend too even though I missed seeing you on this visit.
God bless you and your family. May you always be happy..
Very comfortable place to stay next to a beautiful lake full of fish.
Had a great time in this cabin, caught 17 fish from the pier (happy to say, all fish survived the experience), even saw an eagle. Would stay again!
Thank you Patrick, for your kind words and happy you had a good time fishing and enjoying the surroundings. I hope we'll see you again in the future.
God Bless you and your family.
Great place to relax
We stayed here for our girls weekend. (7 ladies)
The beds were comfy, the house was clean. We over looked the info that said what kitchen items were available, and brought easy oven dinners to find no oven, but excited to find the crockpot! The lake is beautiful, we spent most of our time lounging by the water. We also enjoyed talking to the locals that came up to see if the bar was open, evening walks accompanied by the neighborhood cat. The little cabins look pretty cute and cozy as well. We were bummed about the fire ban, because that fire pit looked awesome. We would stay here again.
John was very helpful when my mom would go over and ask questions ~ my only suggestion would be a few more big bowls in the kitchen :)
We had a great time
Beautiful cabin with an amazing view. It is beautifully furnished and perfect for all family sizes.
Anything my family forgot, it was provided in this cabin. It was very accommodating. I really enjoyed this stay, my family and I will be back next summer
Thank-you for the nice words and we're very happy you had a nice time. Look forward to seeing you again.😊
Great location close to I-90
There were so many beautiful lakes in the area! Between Coeur d' Alene and Wallace lots of things to see and do!
The lodge was clean and well appointed.
Thank you and it was very nice having you stay at our lodge. God bless you always,
Fantastic family vacation :)
Watson's Resort on Rose Lake is a charming, cozy lodge with character. We are a family of 7 and it housed us comfortably and perfectly. With 4 rooms (3 rooms with Queen beds and 1 with bunk beds), extra spacious full bath and one half bath, washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, BBQ outside, and very friendly and hospitable property manager and neighbours, gorgeous lake view, clear blue skies and lots of sun, this is truly a hidden gem...just as Rose Lake and the whole Coeur D'Alene area are!!! The lodge sits on top of a tavern where great music is played on weekends, though they shut down things early for us (even though we wanted to hear more music!!!). We also had our first earthquake experience 11:30pm local time on July 5th (epicentre was about 250 miles away in Lincoln, Montana), and the lodge stood strong during the light shaking...another story for us to tell alongside all the fun memories we have of our time on the lake, Independence Day fireworks up close and personal right by the lodge with super-friendly Joe and neighbours (thanks so much!!), Silverwood Amusement Park and Boulder Beach Waterpark, day trip to Spokane, our exploration of Coeur D'Alene, and the celebration of our youngest son's 4th birthday!!
We will always remember your lodge, John!! Much appreciation for how you maintain your property and we hope to visit again in the future when we're in the Coeur D'Alene area. Our family loved it and for those of you considering Watson's Resort on Rose Lake...you will too!!!
Thank you Heather for your very thoughtful letter. We're so happy for your experience and it sounds you are blessed with a beautiful and loving family.
It sounds like you're a wonderful mother and care taker.
May you and your family be always watch over and protected,
