I purchased Hidden Springs Cabin in 2010 after spending many years visiting my daughter and her family in the Nederland area. I love being in Colorado visiting grandchildren now, and truly enjoy the change of pace from the hectic lifestyle of the East. Once you come and visit the Front Range you will agree!
Ilene Berezin purchased this house in 2010
What a great way to end one chapter and begin another. Hitting the slopes at Eldora then brews in Nederland! Wish we could stay longer. We did not see any moose, but did see the local fox. So glad to see a Farkle pack on the self, it is one of my favorite games!
We had a great time at hidden springs cabin! The area was quiet and the mountain views were gorgeous! We appreciated that Rollinsville was off the beaten path and didn't feel busy with tourists but provided everything we were looking for in the way of a cozy cabin, beautiful scenery, and nearby hiking within a 10-15 minute drive. We were able to hike a different trail every day and highly recommend the forest lakes and crater lakes trails at Rollins pass as well as the Fourth of July trailhead in Eldora. Our dog travelled with us and all hikes we went on were dog friendly (on leash). We also prepared a lot of our own meals at the cabin and appreciated being able to get any groceries we needed in nearby Nederland. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway and hope to be back soon!
We went here for our anniversary and could not have been happier. We were close enough to everything we needed and places we drove (National Park, Mt. Evans) were such great scenery it didn't matter. I loved having Nederland down the road for our needs and the Stage Stop for all my night caps. The cabin was exactly as expected, full of character and had all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay. Planning to return when we get back out to the Rockies!
The cabin was very comfortable for two people. Plenty of space and beautiful view of the mountains. Lots of great hiking within 10 - 15 minutes. Nederland--a cool little town with good eating is just 5 minutes away. Didn't check out the bar just down the hill from the cabin, but it looked like it would have some local color. Will definitely go back
We had a great quite weekend cabin escape. The 3+ feet of snow that accumulated over our 48hr visit was impressive! Good views, piece and quite. Full kitchen was put to use. Gas stove keep the cabin comfortably warm. I'd recommend this for anyone looking for a quiet getaway for 1 or 2 persons.
This cabin is amazing. As described, it's an old miner's cabin renovated with all modern amenities. Ilene was very accommodating, letting us come a day late due to weather conditions.
We absolutely loved our Christmas vacation get away. The location was close enough to denver and a beautiful drive. The size is perfect and so comfortable. We were lucky enough to stay there during a snow storm and it was the perfect place to be with the beautiful picture window and fireplace. The cabin held everything we needed for making some delicious meals. We were able to go on a few small hikes to explore the area. I would recommend this place to all of my friends and we plan on going back another time this year!
