PRESIDENTS' WEEKEND STILL AVAILABLE!!!!
We are located at the renowned 300-acre Omi International Arts Center. In order to continue our work with artists from all over the world, the Center allows rental of the public spaces from Thanksgiving to Presidents Weekend for retreats, vacations, meetings, family reunions and special occasions. We have 19 rooms in three buildings. We ask that you take at least 8 rooms per night @ $175 plus tax per night. You will have complete privacy. No other guests.
The site includes three houses - Sanford and Reynolds Houses have 8 bedrooms/4 bedrooms each. Ledig House has three bedrooms upstairs. The first floor of Ledig has a complete kitchen, dining room, living room and Library. The houses are filled with modern artwork. There will be only one guest at a time. You will have exclusive access to the common areas of Ledig House.
The Fields Sculpture Park and Visitors Center are at the base of the hill. Guests can visit the sculptures, enjoy the exhibitions in the Visitors Center and, in the winter, use the groomed cross country ski trails in the Park at no charge.
WE ARE NOT A FOR-PROFIT EVENTS VENUE. All proceeds go directly to the support of our programs. Our rates are pre-determined whether you plan on a reunion or a wedding.
The rooms at the Retreat are available from Thanksgiving to mid-March only. The Visitors Center and sites in the Fields Sculpture Park are available throughout the year.
The common areas of Ledig and Reynolds House can host a reception of 30-40 people with dancing. The Cafe and Reception areas of the Visitors Center can accommodate a seated reception of 60-80 or cocktails for 100. Or you may erect a tent on the grounds of the Fields Sculpture Park contiguous to the Center and have use of the Cafe and Reception areas for cocktails/dancing.
Our guests tell us that when they drive up that winding road to the top of the hill, the views are stunning and the quiet is palpable.

Complete privacy surrounded by world class sculpture and modern art. A truly unique setting.
We could not have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding. OMI is to beautiful and everything worked out beautifully too. Thank you for all your help with making our special day happen. We are still having guests talk about how great it was at OMI.
My husband and 38 of our closest friends rang in the New Year at Art Omi and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The property is magical, with seemingly endless views of the nearby Catskill Mountains. The houses themselves are extremely comfortable, with roomy bedrooms and welcoming common areas. The large and well stocked kitchen was a pleasure: we made good use of it. A fresh dusting of snow meant that we were able to enjoy a raucous session of New Years Day sledding: those that were a bit hesitant to join that activity were able to take quiet strolls among the acres and acres of quiet fields, dotted with artwork. Dorothy and Rose were an absolute pleasure to work with, extremely accommodating to my needs, even making an exception at the last minute so that I might throw the party of my fancy. My group may have left Omi, but its spirit remains within us. All my guests are still recounting our time spent there. This is a truly unique place. Highly recommend!
This is a nice and charming place. We went in a group last Christmas. The rooms are not too modern and not too old. Also it is not loaded with electronics to reduce distraction. The view from the living room and the deck is absolutely beautiful. The best is probably the approach to this place, a rustic road leading to three large buildings standing on rolling hills. Rose and Dorothy was very helpful in getting everything arranged for us.
This was the most amazing spot for my 40th birthday. The snow, sledding, fires and setting just took our breath away. Kitchen was well stocked for making a gourmet dinner for 30 people. Everyone was helpful, from reserving the space to answering my many questions leading up to and including our stay. It is as beautiful as the photos.
We are 15 minutes from the wonderful little town of Hudson, NY..galleries, antique stores, restaurants, shops. The Berkshires are 1/2 hour west.
