We are a family of five in the SE area of Michigan. My husband and I have three children who keep us plenty busy with hockey. We both work full time and have each been with a Fortune 500 company for many years. This home is our favorite getaway and we are glad to share it with others. It has all the comforts of home and is a great place to make beautiful memories!
Shelly Ervin purchased this house in 2004
The view, the beach, the water! We have been all around Michigan and you can't beat this stretch of Lake Huron for pure sugar sand and great swimming. The home itself has so many views of the lake, you can't beat it. We put a lot of time and effort into decorating and upgrading the property. We have been very fortunate with wonderful guests who treat our home like their own. We promise you won't be disappointed.
Million dollar views! The layout of the house and windows gives great views of the lake.
The home is nestled between the piers of Oscoda and East Tawas so access to both towns is quick.
The AuSable River is just minutes away. Enjoy fishing, canoeing, or tubing on the river.
This fantastic beach-front home has great views of Lake Huron from the patio, living room, family room, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom. The home is fully furnished including a very nice game room. Our vacation experience actually exceeded our expectations.
We enoyed the long walks on the beautiful beach and the evenings around the fire pit. The fall color change provided great views all along the AuSable River scenic roadways.
Oscoda is a nice little town with many little shops and several good restaurants to enjoy.
We stayed in this beautiful home in October 2014 and again in August 2015 with our grown children and grandchildren. It is fully furnished with everything you could need and is very clean. No restaurants needed with this well-stocked kitchen and the outdoor grill. We golfed, swam, built sand castles (well, monster truck obstacle courses if you ask the grandkids), canoed, played games and every evening topped it off with a beach walk and bon fire. We loved sitting around the fire and listening to the waves and watching the beautiful moon. The beach is sandy and wide, the water is clear and shallow – wonderful for our 3 and 5 yr old grandsons. The canoe trip down the Au Sable was so much fun – there were several beaches along the river to stop and let the kids run and swim. Redhawk Golf Course is a treat – well cared for and challenging but not too difficult. The house has beautiful décor and furnishings; it’s obvious that the Ervins have a knack for decorating and love their home. Thanks, Shelly, for sharing your house with our family. It will definitely be our future destination when visiting Lake Huron.
Great piece of property with a beautiful beach. The house has all the amenities needed and is comfortable. Our kids and us made this home for a week and all had a great time. I would reccomend this stay to anyone. We would definately come back.
My friends and our daughters stayed for a Mother's Day weekend and were not disappointed. The scenery was awesome and we felt like we were outside even when we were. The house was very cozy for six of us and had everything we needed. Thanks for opening up your home and we will be back!
This was my first time staying at the property and I couldn't have been happier. The house was spacious and clean. Everything we needed was in available in the house. The view and access to Lake Huron was wonderful. What a great place.. I'm going to be back here for sure.
This home is the perfect place to stay! Spacious and beautifully decorated! The scenery is gorgeous and the beach is great for walks, even in the Fall! Will return again without hesitation!!
