Lovely, peaceful, charming casita. Conveniently located and comfortable. Wonderful hosts. We look forward to returning!
The studio was a perfect place to stay for the weekend. It is clean, nice, walking distance to the beach and main street in Montecito. It's a quick cab or uber to downtown Santa Barbara. The owners are very nice and hospitable. There are beach towels and beach chairs available for use. It was great! We would definitely stay there again!
This casita was in the perfect location for us - just a short walk to Channel Drive and Butterfly beach, both very picturesque - and it was an even shorter walk to the lower village and Coast Village Road with all of its restaurants and shops.
The property was fitted out with everything we needed. In addition to the table and chairs in the apartment there was a nice little private patio with its own breakfast table and chair area. Even though it was close to 101 the property is well buffered and street noise in unnoticeable. Our hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Great stay.
My husband and I lived in Santa Barbara for ten years before returning to the East coast where we were from originally.
Since being back in New England we relish our visits back to California, especially to Santa Barbara where we have many memories.
Finding a place to stay for our trip that was both comfortable , well located, and hosted by terrific people, is a tall order. Happily, we found it all at Pam and Eric's casita. It is charming, impeccably clean, and the friendly graciousness of our hosts made it especially appealing.
Being in Santa Barbara is enchanting under any circumstances, but being a guest at Baja Montecito Casita
elevated our stay to an even higher level.
For future vacations we cannot imagine staying anywhere else.
Our stay with Pam and Doug was perfect. We didn't see them all that much, and Doug more than Pam, but still perfect in every way..... the little house/apartment behind their garage was very private and secluded. It was clean and fresh.... I'm sensitive to smells and it smells wonderful.... there was coffee, tea, little bit of sugar/sweeteners.... but no cream for this girl, I think that would be my only complaint if I HAD to find one, but we just went to store and bought our own! Not a big deal. Thank you Doug and Pam....
My first visit to Santa Barbara was made even more enjoyable by having the "casita" as our home base for the two nights we were there. A cozy, convenient spot from which to launch sightseeing or beach walking. Very happy to have found this gem.
Just finished a two week stay with Pam and Eric and hated to leave. I have stayed at several VRBO's in Santa Barbara, and there is simply no comparison. Quiet and peaceful, ideally located, and filled with quality furnishings - no thrift store junk.
Very clean and well maintained. Anything you need is furnished, and there is a very nice patio to relax on. The ocean is within easy walking distance, as are a variety of nice places to eat and shop.
Eric and Pam are great people.
By the time I left I felt like family, and I'm looking forward to my next visit to their home.
