Shannon purchased this cabin in 2013
Guests will enjoy the peace and quiet of the wooded 5 acres, plus the location to all activities within 30 minutes of the home.
Such a beautiful and peaceful location. We appreciated the thought and care that went into making our stay so comfortable. We will definitely come again!
We traveled from MN to MT to visit our daughter. She requested spending our time together at Glacier National Park. We rented the house to have a family time atmosphere. It was wonderful! Everyone loved the house right as we entered it for the first time. Looking out the front porch is a beautiful scene of mountains and we saw wildlife everyday. It is only a short drive, 20 minutes or less, to Glaciers West Park entrance. We would easily go to and from the park multiple times a day. Shannon the manager of the property was wonderful to work with.
This cabin was awesome. A perfect setting where we were close enough to Glacier National Park yet secluded in our cabin far away from the crowds . Beautiful sunsets at night. It is an easy 10 minute ride to Columbia falls where we were able to pick up groceries. Also a great butcher shop called Perfect Cuts where we found elk tenderloin and bison burgers. Hop over to the wine store and we had everything we needed. The cabin was well equipped in the kitchen along with an outdoor grill.
Sitting on the porch in the evening to a beautiful sunset. Hummingbirds in the morning and many deer throughout our stay. The ride to Glacier was about 20 minutes and arriving early in the morning we avoided any issues with traffic and crowds. We drove into Whitefish and enjoyed a nice lunch. It is a nice little town however we were very pleased we chose our cabin away from all the crowds.
Highly recommended for families or 2 couples
Shannon was great to work with and the cabin was immaculate upon our arrival. Spectacular home base
We came to this part of Montana to see Glacier National Park. This lovely, well appointed cabin was perfectly situated for day forays into the park and very close to many great restaurants in Columbia Falls, Whitefish and Kalispell. Our down fall was the Huckleberry pie available in Hungry Horse on each days return from the park. The cabin was comfortable, quiet and well appointed. Would return there in a heartbeat.
Took the family to Montana in July for an adventure in Glacier National Park. Our stay at this wonderful log cabin was icing on the cake. We had four adults and three children and the fit couldn't have been better. The adults got bedrooms and the kids got a fantastic loft. We had absolutely everything we needed, including a washer and dryer to keep up with all the laundry after lots of hiking. The cabin is wonderfully located between Kalispell and Columbia Falls, with an easy drive to Big Fork or Whitefish. There is a great grocery store in Columbia Falls - very convenient. There was plenty to do for all, so much so that we couldn't fit it all in. We went hiking in Glacier, rafting, fly fishing, took the kids to the water slides in Columbia Falls, more hiking .... Maybe the best part was sitting outside on the porch that wraps around three sides of the cabin and watching the deer wander through the yard. We had a fabulous time on our Montana vacation and would definitely recommend this property
My wife and I visited this wonderful log cabin in February for a ski vacation. The ski resort was close by so I went skiing while my wife stayed home sitting by the cozy fire. We did do some exploring up into Glacier Park (as far as one could go). The amenities of the cabin were wonderful: gas stove and grill, wood stove, large master suite. The huge picture windows allowed the full moon to shine through! Overall, a wonderful experience. Can't wait to return!
My husband wanted to going skiing for his 60th birthday. Since we wanted to be away from the town, this cabin get-away was perfect! The ski resort was within easy driving distance and we could take advantage of the apres ski activities in Whitefish. In the morning, we could look at Glacier Park from our window and enjoy the quiet solitude in the evening. Staying in the cabin gave us that "Winter-time Montana experience" that we were looking for.
Centrally located to enjoy all aspects of the Flathead Valley and 20 minutes from Glacier National Park
