My husband and I stayed at this home in November of 2012 and then again in November and December of 2014 and 2015. This 2-bedroom ranch with a two-car attached garage was more than adequate for our needs. It is clean, comfortable, and affordable with a good location. The pictures and description of the house in the listing are accurate. It has 2 spacious living areas: living/dining room and kitchen/family room. There is high-speed internet service and a modern flat panel TV with satellite and DVR. The TV is visible from the kitchen, yet the house is big enough that you can find a quiet place to read in the living room, office/laundry room, or large, furnished, screened-in patio. We were grateful for the master bedroom with its king size bed, 2 dressers, walk-in closet, and attached master bath. The second bedroom also has a nice bed, dresser, walk-in closet, and easy access to the guest bathroom.
The house is located near the Beardsley rec center where we would often walk to work out in one of the best equipped fitness centers. Afterwards, we would take a refreshing dip in the indoor pool (with a diving board) or head outside to play a round of mini-golf.
We occasionally would walk or bike to the main Johnson rec center and a nearby shopping area where there are food and drug stores, hardware stores, good restaurants, and car repair shops. It is only a short drive to more rec centers, department stores, and lots of restaurants. A 15-20-minute drive gets you to the interstate and a major shopping mall. Phil is a great landlord who is very friendly, accommodating, and has fair rates.
My wife and I found the home to be clean and comfortable in a great location for accessing amenities. It had everything we required to make our stay comfortable. We even had a few visits from coyotes in the yard which was quite a thrill for us. Phil, the owner, was very friendly and accommodating and just a short distance away if you have any issues. Hopefully we will be back next year and certainly would look at staying here again.
I have spent the past two summers in this house. The house is very comfortable, large, over 1800 sq ft. It comes with all the necessitates of life. Just bring your tooth brush and clothes. Kitchen is completely stocked for the cook in the family. Phil is a great landlord and works with you if you have questions. He lives near so if you have a question he can be there very soon to help with your issue. Good value.
We spent the month of March in Phil's smaller home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this home. It was well equipped, quiet neighorhood and friendly neighbors. We enjoyed the porch as we love being outside. Phil is a very thoughtful, friendly and accommodating landlord. Our experience in this home, the friendliness of Sun City West homeowners and the Arizona sunshine influenced our decision to purchase our own home.
My Wife and I spent January And February in this house and we enjoyed it very much. The location is great and the house is very comfortable and clean. It's well stocked with everything from kitchen supplies to bedding and towels. We really enjoyed cooking out in the nice back yard on a gas grill provided with the house. I can say the only things you need to bring are the clothes you want to wear and your toiletry items everything else is there. Another plus is that the landlord lives just a few blocks away and if you need anything he is will be there to provide it.
We stayed for three months in this rental and it was one of the best experiences we have had with rental accommodations that we can remember. The landlord went above and beyond all our expectations. His genuine personality and professional management of the property was exceptional. If we were not purchasing a home we would have locked into the house for years to come. Once you stay here and enjoy the home and all that Sun City West has to offer you will see what we mean.
i do have another house that may be available in SCW. It is a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom 1100 sq ft with a garage, screened in porch and a large yard with fruit trees. The rent varies but is generally 25% less than this listed property..call me or email me if interested
