jennifer & gregg purchased this house in 1989
We chose this property for its open views of the river and the mid-nineteenth century mill architecture.
Enjoy our unique perennial gardens! Explore the variety of activities that Burlington and Lake Champlain offer.
We found this vrbo property a perfect match for our needs: the flat was well laid out, private, and able to accommodate our family of four. The kitchen was well stocked--including breakfast goodies and all the cooking and serving ware we needed. The apartment is full of great art and well located--a short walk to Winooski's restaurants and a quick drive to Burligton. There is even a balcony with chairs and a bench to take advantage of the cool mornings and evenings. The apartment is also accessible to bike paths for those planning to bike. And the hosts are lovely--they are available to point you in the right direction when asked and to show you around the flat when you arrive. We will definitely book here again next time we are in the area. Donna Euben (and Mark and two daughters, ages 11 and 13)
Jennifer and Gregg's place was absolutely perfect for our quick trip to Burlington. It is within walking distance to great restaurants, close enough to downtown and the waterfront for easy access and super comfortable. They are amazing artists and the house in adorned with their wonderful art. It has an incredibly comfortable bed and a great kitchen for cooking if you want to eat in. A yoga studio is a short walk down the street, as is a vegan restaurant, (which we didn't try, but it looked great). Don't pass this one up, it is a great rental! If we are back in the area, we'd stay again and highly recommend it to others!
I am giving this place 5 stars because I can't give it more. It was exactly as described and I can't wait to return on my next trip to Burlington.
Jennifer and Greg were great hosts, checking in the day after our late-night arrival. They had left instructions to access the guest house when we found out our flight had been delayed last-minute. Everything, including the great selection of breakfast items and locally-made soaps, really added to the experience. The artwork - most of it by the owners - was wonderfully eclectic and made the place feel like a museum.
Just across the river were several dining and drinking establishments in Winooski. Though it was a bit of a trek on foot to Burlington, we enjoyed the exercise those walks provided.
I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.
The guest house was just as pictured. In addition, all the linens and soap, etc were top quality. We loved the breakfast foods especially the granola. We purchased the granola and several cleanser and soap products from the local merchants. The helpful information and the restaurant suggestions were great! The artwork was just beautiful and fun. We would recommend this guest house and hope to return someday. Jane & Ted Palm Beach Gardens, Fl
This is a very nice property, very relaxing and comfortable. The owners have created a very serene space and thoughtfully provided extras with coffee , yogurt, granola, milk. Ample street parking and in walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Winooski. On the bus line to UVM and Church Street. If driving a very short drive to same and the waterfront. Would recommend and hope to return.
Only a couple of miles from UVM and downtown Burlington. Wish we had time to walk and explore the Neighborhood and try restaurants right near the guest house. Very attractive and comfortable guest house. Delicious granola, fruit, yogurts, milk, juice, coffee, tea are provided. For a longer stay we could have bought some groceries and done some cooking. We will go back when we visit Burlington again.
