We are still staying in the property. We have had prompt attention from our property manager. We are close to downtown, the suite is pet friendly. We have enjoyed walking in Beacon Hill Park. Close to Cook St shopping. Downtown Victoria is easy walking distance, restaurants, shopping. Great spot for biking. We have really enjoyed our time. We would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Lovely in Everyway!

This lovely property opposite Beacon Hill Park more than met our needs, perfectly! The location is close to downtown and only 2 blocks from Cook St Village. This would be an ideal location, if you did not wish to rent a car but there is off street parking, if you do. Cook St. Village has just about everything you would need; groceries, health food stores, drug stores, restaurants and great coffee shops! The suite's location is also off the main traffic routes, so it is also very quite.

The lower suite is wonderfully appointed with everything you would need to make your meals at home. It's as if the owners lived there and made sure you would have everything imaginable to feel at home. We were there for several months, so we prepared many of our meals in the suite. The two bedrooms are nicely separate, if you wanted to share with family or another couple. The furnishings were up to date and very comfortable for longer stays. The gas fireplace was a real treat and the private, side patio a lovely spot to enjoy our morning coffee.

Nancy the manager, was great! Very professional, yet warm and most helpful with anything we might have wanted but honestly there were very few things that needed her attention. This property is a gem and we would make it our first choice, for our next visit to Victoria.

My husband & I just spent 6 weeks in the Park Place suite. It was perfect, & more than we could have imagined. Over the years we've done many VRBO's, & this was by far the best.

The kitchen is so well equipped, the beds comfortable, & we felt it was home from day one.

Nancy is lovely, & so welcoming, & greeted us with flowers & a bottle of wine on arrival. She was responsive to any need we had over the month & a half.

The location can not be beat. You are literally, no more than 15-20 minutes from everything. We parked our car in the driveway, & almost never used it. There are trendy restaurants 5 minutes away in Cook Street Village, or head to downtown Victoria, also within an easy walk.

We visited Beacon Hill Park (just across the street) almost daily, & enjoyed the flowers, trees, petting zoo, ponds, nesting herons, ducks, etc. we never tired of its beauty & peacefulness.

Don't even think twice about renting this beautiful place, you will not be disappointed. We definitely will stay here again.

We loved our time in this apartment. The owner and manager obviously wanted to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Besides the comfortable apartment, its location was ideal for us. We were easy walking distance to the inner harbour, ocean and Cook St Village. As a result we managed without a car for our month-long stay. And did I mention Beacon Hill Park, directly across the street, featuring at this time of year about 20 nesting blue herons?

We never tired of the apartment and the community.

Awesome year in Beacon Hill

The suite at Park Place was the perfect place for a long term stay in Victoria, Oct-May. The location is excellent - walk across the street to the park, walk 2 blocks to everything you need in Cook Street Village, walk 10 minutes to the beach overlooking the Olympics, walk 20 minutes to most anywhere downtown, or walk 3 blocks to the #7 bus. In short, we had convenient access to everything, yet a quiet and cozy feeling home. The suite is nicely furnished and equipped, and easy to care for. Beds are comfortable, fireplace is perfect on winter nights, and utility room is easily accessible and provides some extra storage. Off-street parking is a big plus. The private side yard is full of flowers and herbs for cooking, plus a nice grill and table and chairs for nice weather days. Nancy and Bea did so much to make us feel at home, and were always available for advice when we needed it. They were very considerate of all our needs, and even welcomed us with flowers and a bottle of wine! This is a fabulous place for anyone wanting to get the most out of their stay in Victoria.

Lovely heritage house in a fabulous location.

My husband and I feel so priviledged to have stayed in this lovely house. It's in such a superb location close to everything, yet quiet and private. I'm not sure if we could have picked a more beautiful time of year. We woke up to the pretty sound of birds every morning and throughly enjoyed watching the squirrels run along the fence. We admired the pink cherry blossoms as we walked the two blocks to the trendy shops of Cook Street Village. The park just across the street was full of spring flowers including masses of naturalized daffodils. You can easily walk to some of the most wonderful places in Victoria including the Art Gallery, Craigdarroch Castle, and of course the ocean on Dallas Road. It was so nice to return to a place that had all the comforts of home after a day of exploring including a warm fire, a great kitchen to cook in (if you have already sampled all the fabulous restaurants in Cook Street Village), and a comfy bed.

Don't miss the delightful goat run at the children's farm in Beacon Hill park (its usually just after 10 AM and 4 PM everyday). Also highly recommended is a horse-drawn carriage ride which goes through the park, by the sea, and along some of loveliest streets with heritage houses.

We want to thank Nancy for being so welcoming and making our stay so wonderful. We were also thrilled to meet the lovely owners of the property. We thank you so much for sharing this treasure of a house. This is truly a gem which I cannot recommend highly enough for your stay in Victoria. We are already dreaming of the day when we can return!
