About Maureen Betz

We moved from Ohio to Littleton, Co 24 years ago & bought our 1st place in Grand Lake 20 years ago. We have 3 boys: twins that are in their 20's & a teenager. When they were younger they loved to go to the cabin & catch frogs, butterflies, grasshoppers, play on the swingset, enjoy the wildflower or just hang out on one of the big rocks to have a picnic.

Maureen Betz purchased this cabin in 2000

Why Maureen Betz chose Rocky Mountain National Park

We love the quiet town of Grand Lake we enjoy boating on the 3 large lakes & hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. We often have picnics by one of the lakes & our boys love to just hang outside & see the wildlife.

What makes this cabin unique

Seclusion, privacy & close proximity to town (1mile).

Guestbook comments from the manager

We came with very high expectations & have not been disappointed! Gorgeous cabin in a stunning location - I dont think we have ever been anywhere so relaxing. We went hiking, mountain biking, rented a boat on Grand Lake & went go-karting. Our teenagers liked the ping pong & x-box. We would come back again anytime!

7 Acre Woods Grand Lake Colorado

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed a week at 7 acre woods for my daughters wedding at Grand Lake Lodge. The cabin is in excellent condition very clean and spacious. It was fully equipped with everything needed for a family stay even the little extras you may have forgotten. The mountain & lake view were breathtaking!! We also had special guest elk and deer visit right outside our door.

very enjoyable!

  • 4 of 5

Very nice property, but pricey. Internet site starts at $289 per night, with all the add ons ended being almost $475 a night. I have tried to get you some new business, however the cost has been the problem regardless of the niceties.

Thanks

Great house; amazing yard

  • 5 of 5

The place was great. Everything was as promised and easy. Inside everything is very nice and top quality. And outside it's the perfect outdoor escape. You look out over a huge yard with the lake as a backdrop. And you can get to town in 5 minutes. The yard is huge and great for kids. And at night and in the mornings wildlife can be seen wandering around. We had a great time!

Beautiful, Family Friendly

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at your home was hands down, one of the best experiences we have had in Colorado. It was very accommodating with everything we could have needed/wanted being available. The kids and adults had so much fun playing with the shuffle board, hiking in the yard and relaxing in the hot tub. The view in the morning was spectacular. The seclusion is exactly as explained but yet the home is centrally located allowing easy access to all the Grand Lake and Granby amenities. We also appreciate how quickly you responded to our questions and the ease of using the HomeAway application. Thank you again for the wonderful stay.

June 2017

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our home-away-from-home vacation so much! The cabin was everything we expected, and more, from the numerous reviews we had read prior to booking. Each day we encountered wildlife of one form or another outside the cabin, whether it be deer, elk or coyotes. It was very peaceful and relaxing, with a picturesque view thrown in.
