Located just 3 miles from shopping and restaurants and 15 minutes to major ski resorts, this condo is on a free county-wide shuttle bus route. Countless 4 season adventures, activites, and solitude.
You will love this condo and this location---cozy, inviting of endless gazing or adventure, and a great value.
World class skiing is available at Copper Mountain, Keystone, Breckenridge, A Basin, and Loveland, all within 14 miles. Vail and Beaver Creek are an easy 30 mile drive.
IAlong with easy access to amenities and activities this unobstructed view and location next to National Forest give the feeling of seclusion without inconvenience. The silence from the deck, view of the beaver ponds below, and the occasional moose or fox walking by will remind you that you are secluded in the Rocky Mountains.
In winter, in addition to the skiing/boarding resorts, there are groomed and ungroomed cross country areas as well as snowshoeing on the many, many miles of nearby and far-flung mountain trails and bike paths. Several of these hiking trails are accessible right from the condo year-round. During the other three seasons, fishing, golf, sailing on Lake Dillon, exploration of the region's historic gold and silver mining areas, gorgeous drives, art shows, concerts, shopping, and so much more are available for all ages.
Its location right on a free county-wide shuttle allows group members to pursue separate interests but begin and end the day together.
Very close to groceries, varied restaurants, and all services.
We enjoyed the cabin and appreciated how wellthe kitchen was supplied, the games for the kids and the cleanliness.
We had a great stay at the Snowscape condo. The owners were responsive and easy to deal with. The end unit was quiet and easy to load in/out. We had the place full, with 4 adults and 2 kids, but it never felt crowded. The views from the patio and master bedroom were spectacular. There was plenty of wood and starter logs for us to have a fire every night. WiFi was easy and the kids loved the clubhouse/pool. We had everything we needed and everything worked. Great Condo for the price!
Property was great! The views were breath taking and I enjoyed sitting looking out the balcony on our off ski mornings. The condo has all the amenities needed for cooking meals as I brought my muffin pans just in case but they had 3 there. Plenty of space as the living area and dining are very nicely sized even allowing for extra sitting areas. Margaret & Liz are amazing to work with and even called on our day of arrival to be sure everything was good. Ample firewood was provided and we enjoyed many fires. I can not say enough good things as my family could not have picked a better place to spend our Christmas! Perfect location to all the different ski areas as well. In hopes to stay many, many more times.
It’s the old real estate cliché: location, location, location. The condo corners on forest land with unimpeded views, especially from the master bedroom, from which one window looks at Buffalo Mountain and the other at Peak One. We have been visiting every July for five years now, and have seen no other condo in the area – and there are tens of thousands – that has everything this has. It is spacious and comfortable, and the owners are a joy to work with.
Celebrated hiking trails are a short drive away, but don’t miss the expansive system directly beneath the condo. The cycling system is also terrific, and if you venture too far out or are caught in the rain, hop aboard the free bus system after putting your bike on the provided rack.
First of all the owners Liz & Margaret where wonderful. They kept in contact and made sure everything was in order.
The condo was clean and very roomy. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the necessities for cooking your own meals. There is a nice fireplace in the living room supplied with plenty of wood. Beds and furniture were very comfortable.
The view from the living room and back deck is spectacular with Royal and Buffalo Mountains both in close proximity to the condo.
We hiked a few times. The trails were very close to the condo and well marked.
Dillon Lake is only a couple of miles away. Fishing was good. We caught a lot of trout.
Silverthorne, Dillon and Frisco were only minutes away when we wanted to shop at the outlets or eat at a restaurant. Between the three towns there is an abundance of attractions, shopping and good restaurants.
I have already recommended this rental to many of my family members and friends who would like to visit Colorado. We will be staying there again and would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable nice place to stay to contact the owners.

Two friends and I stayed here for a week of skiing. The condo is well equipped, well organized, and very comfortable! The view from the deck is phenomenal! Keystone, Breckenridge, A-basin, Copper and Vail are all less than a 30 minute drive away. The restaurants in Dillon and Frisco are easy to get to, or have pizza or Chinese delivered! Liz was great to work with. We will rent this unit again!
My two boys and I stayed at Liz and Margaret's condo from 12/27/14 - 1/02/15. Everything was perfect! Once we expressed interest in renting the condo, Liz contacted us right away and was great to work with in describing the condo and negotiating the rate. When we arrived at the condo, it was very clean and organized- all of the drawers in the kitchen were even labeled. So, there was no guesswork about where to find anything. All of our favorite ski resorts were very close to the condo. We skied at A-Basin, Vail, Beavercreek and Copper Mountain. We even found an indoor rock climbing place in Silverthorne where my older son went bouldering. If you are looking for some great local pizza, try Jersey Boys Pizza! Overall, we had a great vacation! I would definitely recommend renting from Liz and Margaret. They will be our first call when we go skiing next Christmas/ New Years!
Silverthorne is part of famous Summit County Colorado. Snowscape condos in the Wildernest area offers a great location and a break from the expensive on-site resort pricing. You will love being located on the edge of Arapahoe National Forest and steps away from great hiking trails...yet also only a few moments from the all the amenities and activities of Summit County. Summertime brings festivals and free concerts and Farmer's Markets, biking, hiking, fishing, golfing, sailing, and much more. Winter fun at Keystone, Copper, Breckenridge and Arapahoe Basin is endless.
