We enjoyed our time and the facilities. It was nice to be close to our function at the Marriott without having to pay for staying at the Marriott.
We had intended to stay in a hotel suite during our visit to the Tucson area. However, the dates coincided with the "gem and mineral shows" and the accommodations we were looking for were not readily available. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we found the rental unit on White Stagg instead.
From the moment we walked into the unit we knew that we had made the right decision. From the foyer, your eyes are immediately attracted to the two sliding glass doors and the views of both Tucson and the surrounding hills. The unit itself is filled with light from the many windows and skylights and has the feel of a wonderful southwestern home. This particular unit is adorned with a variety of mounted, trophy heads, game fish, and beautifully stuffed and posed mountain lion (I think). Although we are not hunters, the decor was not unsettling or distracting, and we were informed about it very early on in the rental process. The attached garage provides not only space for the car(s) but also has a clothes washer and dryer.
The kitchen area is spacious and comes with all of the utensils and appliances that one might need. Plenty of eating space at either the table in the dining area or at the kitchen bar/counter.
The living/sitting room is furnished with very comfortable couches and a flat screen television is there if you need a diversion from the vistas and scenery. The two bedrooms are well appointed with plenty of closet space and the beds are very comfortable. Both bedrooms have adjoining bathrooms that are bright and spacious. And both bedrooms have flat screen TVs.
Through the sliding glass doors is a very large outside patio area with table, chairs, and lounges. A wonderful place to sit and enjoy the sunrise in the morning or the lights of Tucson in the evening.
From the initial inquiry through the return of the security deposit, the entire rental process was handled very professionally. I found Dawn Kelly very easy to work with and and any questions were always answered in a timely manner.
We travel quite a bit and I can honestly say this is the very nicest and best unit, at this price point, we have ever stayed at. I strongly recommend that anyone looking for a two bedroom unit seriously consider this or one of Ms. Kelly's other units.
My adult son and I were in Tucson for a few days to visit my aunt, and this place suited us really well. The property managers were very helpful and friendly, providing great customer service! We enjoyed the hiking trails around the Starr Pass Resort, and were happy to be within easy driving distance of the Desert Museum. We've been to Tucson often, and have always enjoyed our dining experiences there. This time we discovered Cafe Poca Cosa, which is now at the top of our list! It's downtown, just about 10 minutes from Starr Pass, with incredibly special and fresh Mexican food. The kind of food you will dream about when you get home! All in all, this was a great rental experience. We will definitely rent from this owner again, and will recommend her properties to others!
Myself and two others stayed here for 5 nights , we golfed went out to nice resturant s and just sat outside and relaxed. The booking was easy deposit was returned right away. The place was spotless and the washer dryer came in handy. I was so happy we weren't just stuck in a room with two beds and no room to move around.can't wait to go back.
This was our third winter to escape the dreary Northwest winters. This unit was just the answer with the many windows, bright cheerful atmosphere and spacious rooms. Kitchen is easy to work in, as is not always the case with rentals. The unit has a garage which was nice for additional storage. The owner and her property manager, husband/wife team, went out of their way to assist us whenever possible. The only drawback is it's location right off the busy, noisy Starr Pass. Yet, there are so many pluses we will consider staying here again.
We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The pool and workout facilities were perfect for my family. We have three children, 11, 14, and 17 years of age and the accommodations worked really well for us. We enjoyed the things to do in Tucson, but we really liked the ability to just get away and do something different, without being cramped in too small of a space. I highly recommend the property. The booking worked well, and we got our deposit back before we even arrived home.
The property managers were also very helpful....I always have a question or two no matter where I go, and they answered them immediately, and were very patient!
