I've found all the natural beauties and open mindedness of Europe in Asheville! From the moderate climate, waterfalls and abundent nature to the cosmopolitan restaurants, ecclectic and down to earth people, Asheville area has it all in one place.
Peace, serenity and a retreat into nature at Holly Haven. So many activities are nearby or just stay in and get lost in the sweeping vista views of the mountains for hours.
Thank you so much for your hospitality. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay in such a nice and cozy environment. We would love to come back for another visit!
Thank you for the delicious banana bread as well!
My husband and I were visiting Asheville for our anniversary and were looking for something outside of the city that was a little quieter and cheaper... this was a good choice. It was very quiet here, amenities were nice, bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was full size so you could easily cook meals there. The distance from Asheville was a bit farther than we had thought..like a 25 minute drive. Not a bad drive at all but we were expecting it to be a little closer. Other than that, it was a great place to stay, would recommend!
We walked in with a nice suprise of homemade banana bread. Place is very clean. Bed was comfortable. It was perfect. I would rent this place again.
Very comfortable and nicely appointed. Loved all the art work and the electric fireplace in the unit. The unit was very clean and well equipped. The owner recommended a very good local restaurant, The Local Joint. Secure parking for my corvette. Will stay here if we are in the Asheville area again. PS Loved the banana bread. K and D Redding
Tucked away on the mountain, this place was perfect! Very clean, spacious and well equiped.
Thank you for such a lovely visit.
First, this place is nice and clean. But the TV is completely shot. Can't believe the owner doesn't know about it. The temperature thing is very weird...if you or yours are cold natured, this is not your place...it seems completely shielded from the sun.. you'll always be cold, and we visited in late July! Can't imagine what it's like in the winter? Would not be our first choice for a return to Asheville.
This was another wonderful experience with Home Away properties. The place was excellent, very fresh and clean, wonderfully decorated. All bases were covered and and they anticipated our every need. The surroundings were beautiful and very quiet.
The only suggestions I have for you to consider are: lighter linens, dark colors often suggest there is something to hide or hidden. With the overall cleanness of your home, we were very comfortable, however lighter colored linens would have been even better, and a full length mirror would also have been helpful. Thank you for your service, and we would certainly consider come back again. Thank you, Neely and Henry.
