About: My wife and I moved to Bear Lake about 5 years ago and started Bear Lake Cabin Rentals about 4 years ago. We love the Bear Lake area. The lake is such a beautiful blue and the area is so nice and charming. The winters can be cold but they are so peaceful and uncongested. It is a great place to get away from the busy city life.
Why Garden City:
We enjoy managing properties for people and not only building a relationship with the owners but all the great guest that stay with us. We have a lot of people that come back year after year to enjoy all that Bear Lake has to offer
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
During the summer months there are tons of great outdoor activities. There is the Minnetonka cave, tons of hiking and biking trails. A huge beautiful lake for boating, water skiing and wake boarding. In the winter Beaver Mountain is just 15 minutes up the canyon and is an undiscovered treasure for the ski or snowboard enthusiast. There are hundreds of miles of terrain for snowmobiling and some great sledding hills too.
Overall comfortable and great location. It was very easy to schedule. We really did have a great reunion and appreciate the nice accommodations.
The cabin was big but did have a few issues. Jets didn't work in the tub. Upstairs windows didn't close. All in all it was a great stay. Price should be reduced a bit till things are fixed.
The cabin is beautiful and has everything you need to stay there.
Beautiful view of the lake. The rental company was great to work with.
The only down side is we thought it would be closer to the lake. The lake is about 200-300 yards away from the cabin because the lake is so low.
I would highly recommend it
We stayed at the Bear Lake Lakeside Lodge Cabin for 3 days with our family and grandchildren. We had a great stay with plenty of room for everyone. The property was close all sorts of fun things other than just playing in the lake. The property managers were quick to answer text with help and suggestions. Everything was very well organized for arrival and departure. Thanks for a great time. I've already given the recommends to several friends.
We've stayed at this cabin for two years now. The best things about it are the location and view, right near Garden City, bike paths, and the marina. The view of the lake from inside the cabin or the back deck is awe inspiring. I could just watch the different moods of the lake all day, not to mention sunrise and sunset. Also, the cabin itself is newer and clean with a nice, large kitchen and master bedroom.
The weaker things include not having a bathroom on the main level outside of the master (only two bathrooms in a cabin that sleeps nearly 20). Also, the lower level is always too cold and the upper is always too hot (if you run the AC) since there are no HVAC vents in any rooms on the upper level.
It was a perfect gathering spot for family dinners and evening activities for our family of 33. We couldn't all sleep there, but very open and accommodating great room and outdoor space to gather everyone.
My personal recommendations as to what everyone needs to do in Bear Lake includes:
-Eat a raspberry shake
-Visit Minnetonka Cave
-Boat or seadoo on the beautiful water
-Look for the Bear Lake Monster
-Watch a play at Pickleville Playhouse
-Snowmobile in the 100s of miles of groomed trails
