About Leanne Mackenzie

I'm a native Calgarian who moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1994. I missed the Canadian Rockie so much that I decided to purchase a vacation rental so that I could also use it when coming home to visit with friends and family.

I moved back to Calgary in 2013 to pursue my own business as a home stager.

Leanne Mackenzie purchased this condo in 2002

Why Leanne Mackenzie chose Alberta

I chose to purchase condos in this building because I wanted views of nature only (mountains, wetlands, and creek), but with the conveniences of town living. This is the only property in the downtown Canmore area that allows for this. It is truly a wonderful location within Canmore. The best part is that the wetlands are protected, so no building or road can ever be constructed there to ruin the spectacular views....

What makes this condo unique

A 2 - 15 minute walk to just about everything you need within town....

Was a great place to stay. Great "home base". We went on a lot of day trips then back to the more quiet Canmore! Wonderful, quaint town. Shopping and restaurants!

Perfect for our stay in he Banff area

  • 5 of 5

Quiet, charming, great view, comfortable beds, had everything we needed including spices and kitchen basics that are often not in rental units. The park pass that awaits in the unit saved us many dollars. Canmore is calmer and quieter than Banff yet offers amazing views, walks along the Bow River, and some very good restaurants - Tapas was outstanding. We could walk to drug store, small market, many shops and eateries. It turned out to be the perfect place for our visit. The owner was easy to work with and our damage deposit was refunded very quickly.

Banff Vacation

  • 5 of 5

This condo is absolutely wonderful! The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living area had everything we needed. Our most favorite time of the day was coming back to this cozy condo to make and have a meal together and to view our photos of the day on the large screen TV. We will definitely be back! Thank you for everything!
