About Amy and Richard Greener
Hi I'm Amy Greener and along with my husband Rick, we own and self-manage our 5 cabins in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Our goal is to give you the best vacation rental experience ever. We hope to retire to the Smokies someday but for now, this is our family business and it keeps us busy! Rick is a hydraulics sales engineer and the technical mind in our family. I'm the art-sy one with a long career as a voice talent but more recently a professional photographer who specializes in real estate and vacation rentals. We would love to be your hosts at Water's Edge!
Amy and Richard Greener purchased this Cabin in 2010
Why Amy and Richard Greener chose Pigeon Forge
Water's Edge is our only 1 BR property. We looked at a lot of cabins but this little one on the water was something different and unique. We wanted a nice blend for our 'honeymooner'--romantic, comfortable and a fair amount of privacy. But with the fishing pond, we thought it would also be ideal for guests with children wanting to fish or play outside. Plus it had to be pet friendly with room for them to take walks and enjoy the outdoors. Finally we really wanted a cabin with no stairs and one level living. Many of our guests have requested this and it's sometimes hard to find a cabin one level living. We feel so fortunate that we found Water's Edge because it truly filled our wish list.
What makes this Cabin unique
A great location with no cabins right next door. Relaxing views of the water. You can take walks along the pond. Have dinner on the screened deck at night with the rope lights turned on for a romantic evening. We welcome larger breed dogs--with owner approval--so your beloved Golden Retriever or Shepherd can join you on your vacation.

Very, very nice. Secluded, but not TOO FAR from food and activities. My husband really enjoyed the stocked fishing lake!!
Thank you, Marilyn! We love to know our guests were pleased. And if the fisherman in the family was happy...then everyone's happy! We would love to have you back again at Water's Edge. FYI the cedar trees at the edge of the pond have been removed, so now you'll have an even better view to the water from the dining table on the porch.
Comfortable and relaxing
From the moment of arrival and Amy’s immediate assistance on door code my husband and I began one of our most enjoyable vacations! The cabin was exceptional in comfort! The location was just what we were looking for. My husband enjoyed fishing in the pond! Our dog enjoyed many walks! The hot tub was one of my delights and the amazingly comfortable bed another! I would definitely recommend this cabin and hope to visit again! Thanks Amy for your thoughtfulness on providing a beautiful home away from home!
Thank you! With reviews like this, it makes all the blood, sweat and tears worth it :) Thank you so much for recommending Water's Edge to others and being wonderful guests. It was a pleasure to have you stay at our cabin and we would happily have you back again.
Super cute, quaint and quiet(mostly)
We had a wonderful stay! Thank you. Aside from the noisy Ohio family across the lake, it was the perfect escape!
Thank you, Brett! In the mountains, we learn not to talk too loudly or everyone knows your business. Sounds like the folks from Ohio didn't get that tip from their hosts. If guests at neighboring cabins ever get out of hand, let me know and I'll reach out to the manager or sheriff's department. Everyone deserves a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. I hope you'll consider being our guests again.
Very comfortable, clean cabin. We brought our air mattress for our boys but realized the couch had a hide a bed once at the cabin, which was good for them, so next time we can leave that at home. Perfect location for surrounding activity. We brought fishing gear as well but the cabin had some poles for use so next time no need to bring those either. All in all it was a cozy cabin for our stay, looking forward to next year.
Thank you, Gerri! It made me smile when you said you wouldn't need to bring the air mattress or fishing poles next time. Over the years we've listened to our guests and try to make improvements and additions as we can. If the guests are happy, we're happy! Hope to have you back next summer.
Everything was great including location, cleanliness and all the little extras. Cabin was great. Will stay at this cabin in the future.
Thank you, Gary. We would love to have you back again!
Very nice, quiet place for us to celebrate our 25th Anniversary
Thank you, Kelli. We enjoyed hosting your stay and would love to have you back for another anniversary!
