About the property

***Water's Edge did not experience any damage from the recent wildfires***

Read our reviews--we take great care of our guests!

With it's peaceful location at the edge of a private community fishing pond, Water's Edge is not your typical cabin in the Smokies. Unlike many other cabins, you don't have another cabin right next door within view. Water's Edge is not secluded but it definitely has plenty of privacy!

Few cabins in the smokies offer a fishing pond right out your front door. Catfish, bass and bluegill await your line and no fishing license is required. Water's Edge overlooks a peaceful pond and the closest cabin is 200 feet away. Catch and release fishing only.

This pet-friendly log cabin may be a fisherman's paradise outside, but inside it's all about creature comforts. Beautiful vaulted wood ceilings keep this 792 square foot cabin feeling spacious. The king bedroom offers a new mattress, double sided fireplace (available Oct 1-April 1), 25-inch TV and heart shaped jacuzzi. The attached bathroom has a generous walk-in shower.

In the living and dining area, the stacked stone fireplace shares the focal point of the room along with a 42 inch flat screen TV. Enjoy DVD movies, Gamecube video games, free WI-FI or just check out a favorite show on TV. The sleeper sofa in the living room folds out to a queen bed. We also have a Pack-N-Play and high chair in the closet if needed.

The hot tub and outside dining area are located on a screened porch that runs the length of the cabin. Rope lights add a festive touch and since it's bug free, you'll find yourself enjoying the outdoor living space that much more. Another plus is that this porch is totally enclosed so your pets can be with you and you don't have to worry about them getting loose.

The kitchen is compact but well outfitted for dining in. You'll have plenty of good quality kitchen wares and small appliances for making a simple snack or a big BBQ. We're foodies and believe in giving our guests the best kitchen tools we can provide, so can have fun making blended drinks with the Ninja or pulling out the crockpot for an easy meal after a day of exploring. You're on vacation, so food prep should be easy!

One of the nicest things about Water's Edge is the ease of access. You're 4.5 miles from the heart of Pigeon Forge at Traffic Light 3--only a few minutes away. But with no steep mountain roads to climb, winter time access is very good. Plus if stairs are a concern, the cabin has a simple ramp that leads inside and all living is on one level.

If Water's Edge is booked over your dates, we have another very nice option: Key to My Heart. It's almost identical and is about a 2 1/2 minute walk from Water's Edge. This cabin is especially good if you need level parking for a trailer or motorcycles. You can see it at VRBO listing 816480.

If you have more than one pet, we will certainly consider two dogs. We welcome larger breeds with owner approval. Pet stays at Water's Edge are most welcome but we require that your dog is an adult dog, house-broken and currently on flea/tick medication. We appreciate if you bring your pet's crate so that when you leave, they are comfortable and secure. Crating your dog is not mandatory but very appreciated.

About Amy Greener

Hi I'm Amy Greener and along with my husband Rick, we own and self-manage our 5 cabins in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Our goal is to give you the best vacation rental experience ever. We hope to retire to the Smokies someday but for now, this is our family business and it keeps us busy! Rick is a hydraulics sales engineer and the technical mind in our family. I'm the art-sy one with a long career as a voice talent but more recently a professional photographer who specializes in real estate and vacation rentals. We would love to be your hosts at Water's Edge!

Amy Greener purchased this cabin in 2010

Why Amy Greener chose Sevierville

Water's Edge is our only 1 BR property. We looked at a lot of cabins but this little one on the water was something different and unique. We wanted a nice blend for our 'honeymooner'--romantic, comfortable and a fair amount of privacy. But with the fishing pond, we thought it would also be ideal for guests with children wanting to fish or play outside. Plus it had to be pet friendly with room for them to take walks and enjoy the outdoors. Finally we really wanted a cabin with no stairs and one level living. Many of our guests have requested this and it's sometimes hard to find a cabin one level living. We feel so fortunate that we found Water's Edge because it truly filled our wish list.

What makes this cabin unique

A great location with no cabins right next door. Relaxing views of the water. You can take walks along the pond. Have dinner on the screened deck at night with the rope lights turned on for a romantic evening. We welcome larger breed dogs--with owner approval--so your beloved Golden Retriever or Shepherd can join you on your vacation.

This cabin will not disappoint you! PERFECT!

  • 5 of 5

Water's Edge cabin was far more than I expected, the pictures really don't do it justice.

As soon as you walk in the door you see how well it is maintained and very clean it is.

The cabin is in the perfect location and close to the parkway. There are no steep hills to get to this cabin which was a plus for me. It was well stocked, we didn't need for anything, it had everything you would need and more.

We travel with our poochies and the cabin had dog treats waiting to welcome our dogs.

The cabin was very inviting, very cozy, and the owner and cleaners went above and beyond to insure our stay was perfect and it was.

I would definitely stay at this cabin again, everything about it was wonderful.

Owner's Response: Thank you, Terri! I know the housekeepers will enjoy reading your compliments on their work. Oftentimes, they have the hardest job and get the least positive feedback. I appreciate that! Thank you, too, for letting me know you liked how we set up the house and take care of our guests. It's the only way I know to do things lol. I hope to host you again someday--please come again!

Perfect for couples!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our time at Waters Edge! The pictures do no do it justice! It’s in the perfect little area away from other cabins but not very far from the Parkway. The cleaning ladies do a wonderful job, it was so clean! There is now a flat screen in the bedroom as well. No complains at all! We would stay here again or in any Blue Mist Cabin!

Owner's Response: Thank you, Alexa! What a sweet review of Water's Edge. I love that you enjoyed it and would come back again. We have another cabin just around the corner from Water's Edge that's equally charming. Maybe next time you can try that one. Please come again!

The cabin was beautiful and so was the view!

  • 4 of 5

It was very roomy and had a lot of modern amenities that most lack, which was a big plus! Not being at the top of the mountain in the winter was great and being in front of a beautiful pond to sit on the screened porch was so peaceful. I would just suggest they update their keurig, as it was one of the first models made and is not user friendly lol. I’m an OCD clean freak so I just noticed some things others might not but overall it was amazing and I would definitely return again!

Owner's Response: Thank you, Anon. Glad you enjoyed the cabin and easy access in the winter. The Keurig is not quite 3 years old and is the smaller size one that doesn't have a water tank on the side. They get great reviews on QVC so we put these in our one bedroom cabins. I'm sorry it wasn't easy to figure out. I'll look into putting together some instructions for it so future guests aren't left scratching their heads. Thanks for sharing that. Please come again!

Gorgeous Cabin with All the little details Taken care of.

  • 4 of 5

Came for a quick romantic weekend trip. We arrived at night and were delighted to see that the cabin was well lit and all ready for us. The heat was on and the decor was stunning! The kitchen was FULLY stocked with everything. The cabin is just a short 10min drive from all The fun stuff to do in Pigeon Forge! The only negative thing I can say is this cabin is definately for the pet lovers because there was quite a bit of pet hair Inside. Other than that, it was a beautiful stay and we will probably be returning soon.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review, Tanji! I'm glad you enjoyed the cabin and the location. I apologize for the pet hair from the previous guest stay...this can happen occasionally and we've scheduled a deep clean for the cabin to make sure this is addressed asap. I hope you'll be back again!

Wonderful Cabin (with all of the extras covered)

  • 5 of 5

This cabin in Pigeon Forge was amazing from start to finish.

We've stayed in several rental properties over the years...and there are always a few things missing here and there, but not THIS cabin. There were plenty of extra pillows, blankets, dish soap, snacks, dog treats, hand soap...and a ton of other things that I'm forgetting. But there was never a time when we had to make a trip to the grocery store for one of these items.

Now moving on to the cabin... absolutely amazing. The pictures don't really do it justice...but it will have to do. The porch seems larger than the pictures, the hot tub was clean and easily accessible. The kitchen had everything we needed for our week-long stay. The bed was very comfy and the tv in the bedroom has been upgraded with a newer flat-screen!

We are looking forward to our next trip (without the kids) to the Smokies...and booking this cabin again.

Owner's Response: Thank you, Eric! It's so rewarding to receive a review like this. I agree, it's time to get some new photos taken of the bedroom since we replaced the old 32" Box TV that used to hang over the fireplace. That thing was a monster lol I love that you had a great week and felt comfortable and well-accommodated. That's our goal :) We'd love to have you back anytime. Please come again when you need a Smokies fix.
