Sevierville Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Cabin, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

Read our reviews--we take great care of our guests!

With it's peaceful location at the edge of a private community fishing pond, Water's Edge is not your typical cabin in the Smokies. Unlike many other cabins, you don't have another cabin right next door within view. Water's Edge is not secluded but it definitely has plenty of privacy!

Few cabins in the smokies offer a fishing pond right out your front door. Catfish, bass and bluegill await your line and no fishing license is required. Water's Edge overlooks a peaceful pond and the closest cabin is 200 feet away. Catch and release fishing only.

This pet-friendly log cabin may be a fisherman's paradise outside, but inside it's all about creature comforts. Beautiful vaulted wood ceilings keep this 792 square foot cabin feeling spacious. The king bedroom offers a new mattress, double sided fireplace (available Oct 1-April 1), 25-inch TV and heart shaped jacuzzi. The attached bathroom has a generous walk-in shower.

In the living and dining area, the stacked stone fireplace shares the focal point of the room along with a 42 inch flat screen TV. Enjoy DVD movies, Gamecube video games, free WI-FI or just check out a favorite show on TV. The sleeper sofa in the living room folds out to a queen bed. We also have a Pack-N-Play and high chair in the closet if needed.

The hot tub and outside dining area are located on a screened porch that runs the length of the cabin. Rope lights add a festive touch and since it's bug free, you'll find yourself enjoying the outdoor living space that much more. Another plus is that this porch is totally enclosed so your pets can be with you and you don't have to worry about them getting loose.

The kitchen is compact but well outfitted for dining in. You'll have plenty of good quality kitchen wares and small appliances for making a simple snack or a big BBQ. We're foodies and believe in giving our guests the best kitchen tools we can provide, so can have fun making blended drinks with the Ninja or pulling out the crockpot for an easy meal after a day of exploring. You're on vacation, so food prep should be easy!

One of the nicest things about Water's Edge is the ease of access. You're 4.5 miles from the heart of Pigeon Forge at Traffic Light 3--only a few minutes away. But with no steep mountain roads to climb, winter time access is very good. Plus if stairs are a concern, the cabin has a simple ramp that leads inside and all living is on one level.

If Water's Edge is booked over your dates, we have another very nice option: Key to My Heart. It's almost identical and is about a 2 1/2 minute walk from Water's Edge. This cabin is especially good if you need level parking for a trailer or motorcycles. You can see it at VRBO listing 816480.

If you have more than one pet, we will certainly consider two dogs. We welcome larger breeds with owner approval. Pet stays at Water's Edge are most welcome but we require that your dog is an adult dog, house-broken and currently on flea/tick medication. We appreciate if you bring your pet's crate so that when you leave, they are comfortable and secure. Crating your dog is not mandatory but very appreciated.

About Web Chalet

Hi I'm Amy Greener and along with my husband Rick, we own and self-manage our 5 cabins in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Our goal is to give you the best vacation rental experience ever. We hope to retire to the Smokies someday but for now, this is our family business and it keeps us busy! Rick is a hydraulics sales engineer and the technical mind in our family. I'm the art-sy one with a long career as a voice talent but more recently a professional photographer who specializes in real estate and vacation rentals. We would love to be your hosts at Water's Edge!

Web Chalet purchased this cabin in 2010

Why Web Chalet chose Tennessee

Water's Edge is our only 1 BR property. We looked at a lot of cabins but this little one on the water was something different and unique. We wanted a nice blend for our 'honeymooner'--romantic, comfortable and a fair amount of privacy. But with the fishing pond, we thought it would also be ideal for guests with children wanting to fish or play outside. Plus it had to be pet friendly with room for them to take walks and enjoy the outdoors. Finally we really wanted a cabin with no stairs and one level living. Many of our guests have requested this and it's sometimes hard to find a cabin one level living. We feel so fortunate that we found Water's Edge because it truly filled our wish list.

What makes this cabin unique

A great location with no cabins right next door. Relaxing views of the water. You can take walks along the pond. Have dinner on the screened deck at night with the rope lights turned on for a romantic evening. We welcome larger breed dogs--with owner approval--so your beloved Golden Retriever or Shepherd can join you on your vacation.

My husband and I had a very relaxing time at this cabin. Waters Edge was the perfect size for two people. It was far enough away so that we had a lot of privacy, yet it was very convenient to anything that you wanted to go into town and do. The owner, Amy, was such a pleasure to work with. She thought of everything, right down to giving us a list of good restaurants and local grocery stores. Two of the restaurants Amy suggested that we tried were....Timberwood Grill and Old Mill Café....wonderful service and food. The cabin was very well stocked with anything you might need. I would highly recommend this cabin and would definitely stay there again. Just a personal suggestion....If you do visit, check out the show SOUL OF MOTOWN at the Majestic Theater. It is only minutes away from the cabin. This show is AWESOME!

Owner's Response: Hi Donna and thank you for the review. I'm so happy you enjoyed your stay. I have not been to the Soul of Motown show, but I had heard it was very good. I might have to check it out sometime. Please come again!

Beautiful Cabin

  • 4 of 5

We loved the cabin. Very well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The owners put a lot of thought into everything provided, extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in! The reason we did not give 5 stars...The steepness of the driveway, we have a 2017, and cringed at the loud clank sound when put into gear from the stress of the incline. Also, the Jacuzzi is not private at all, it is facing the pond and road, the pond is a very popular place early morning and late evenings. Maybe some curtains for privacy would help.

Owner's Response: Linda, thank you for your review. I'm happy you enjoyed your stay at Water's Edge. Though I wish we could have earned 5 stars, I totally appreciate your comments about the driveway. Your mention of this has prompted me to update the PDF that we send to our guests. Many of us from "flatlands" never consider using the emergency parking brake to reduce strain on the parking pawl. Don't laugh but I just learned this recently and I've been driving a along time ;) Thanks for mentioning this so we can help future guests. We hope you'll be our guests again. If you'd prefer a flat driveway, our Key to My Heart cabin (VRBO 816480) is right around the corner. It's almost a twin to Water's Edge but has a larger yard and long flat driveway.

Wonderful and Relaxing

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I have been to Seiverville numerous times and have stayed in many cabins while visiting. We loved Waters Edge. One very nice feature was the screened in porch. Also the king sized bed was very comfortable. My husband prefers to be away from the busy downtown area and this was exactly what we wanted. Talk about thinking of everything -- they had games, movies and even a fishing pole if you wanted to go down to the pond to fish. Amy worked with us to find the location we were looking for that would accept our dog. Many cabins will accept dogs but not necessarily one that is as large as ours, which is 70 pounds. Thankfully Amy had no problem with accepting a dog that size. She was wonderful to work with and the cabin was exactly like the pictures with the pond out front. There was a nice path out front that my dog loved walking. I can't say enough good things about Waters Edge and working with Amy. Thank you for sharing your cabin!!!

Owner's Response: Deborah, thank you for the super review. I love when I hear from our guests that the cabin was a good fit. We want everyone to have a great vacation and much of that centers on the lodging experience. So whatever we can do to make happen, that's our focus. Please come again, Deborah. We'd love to have you back!

Picture Perfect

  • 5 of 5

I had never been to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Seiverville, though my spouse has. Didn't know exactly what to expect and the cabin, Waters Edge was exactly what I wanted and expected. Cabin was perfect for two adults and two dogs. Very picturesque, pond was fantastic, mountains were fantastic, privacy was fantastic. Access to Pigeon Forge was easy and fast. Amy was very easy to work with, and communication with her is excellent. Looking forward to going back!

Beautiful pet friendly cabin in quiet location w/fishing pond! Owner was the best to work with!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I decided to spend Spring Break in Sevierville, PG, Gatlinburg area. We had booked another cabin from this owner but then had to cancel. When I was able to rebook, the original cabin wasn't available but she provided info on other cabins (and answered my many questions promptly!). We picked Water's Edge and it was absolutely perfect for us! My husband and 6 year old LOVED having the fishing pond right in front of the cabin. The cabin is beautiful, CLEAN, and stocked. There were snacks for us and treats for the dog! The owners pay close attention to detail and you will not be disappointed! You cannot beat the location -- it is secluded and quiet but there are many attractions within in a 10-minute drive! Amy was fabulous to work with! I cannot say enough good things about her or Water's Edge. We cannot wait to make a return trip and stay in this beautiful cabin!

Owner's Response: Cindy, you made my evening with your review. I'm tickled that your husband and 6-year-old loved it too. When everyone's happy, that's a good vacation! I love making all our cabins a welcoming place for our guests--it's the only way to be a good host, in my book. Thanks for noticing and please come back anytime!

Best cabin we've stayed at in past six years! Private, fishing, great location, clean!

  • 5 of 5

Can't say enough good things about this cabin. Very clean & neat. Kitchen well stocked w/cookware, plates, utensils, etc. Even had most spices you will need, oil, cooking spray, etc. I loved the way the cabinet contents were so organized. Impressive! They left us a nice snack basket, as well as complimentary candy. The cabin had games, movies, free wifi & long distance. Hot tub was super clean. Loved the two-sided fireplace! Nice raised table and chairs on screened porch; I worked on my laptop while overlooking the pond. Just beautiful! My husband would say the best part was the fishing. He caught 30+ brim each day we were there, and caught a 26" catfish on our last day. He was in heaven!! The cabin location is awesome too! Very private! You can see a few other cabins at a distance, but no one is near you and the pond is literally just a few steps away. And it took us about 5 minutes to get to downtown Pigeon Forge. It was a bonus that we just happened to run into the owner, Amy, when we arrived early. She is such a nice lady, easy to work with, and wanted to ensure we had a pleasant stay. And we did!!!!

Owner's Response: Wow, I'm just floored by your review Sherri. Best cabin in 6 years of visiting the Smokies. That's a true compliment! I really enjoyed meeting you and your husband since I rarely get to meet our guests in person, but you caught me finishing up some projects LOL Thank you for reassuring me that everything was okay because I was a bit nervous after the granite installer had to cut the hole for the sink in the cabin, leaving dust everywhere. It took me a whole day to put that place back together but you made me feel better after you'd looked around and said it was fine. I'm glad the fishing was good and you both had a great stay. Please come again next year!
