The 2 week minimum stay is required per the Atrium condominium association by-laws. Note: Our condo, as well as the whole building has a NO SMOKING policy.

The Atrium - a luxury 24-unit single building complex on the Gulf of Mexico - has a lovely courtyard, covered driveway building entrance, and manicured grounds that accompany the private drive, private beach access, heated pool, and tennis court.

Our relaxing beach themed unit has many amenities, including ceiling fans, master bedroom walk in closet, vanity sink inside & outside the master bath, and window shutters. Windows from bedrooms and side of the lanai have views toward the pool and the Gulf of Mexico -- and not a view into a nearby rental unit. Our unit in the Atrium offers a relaxing atmosphere, open beach views, and a peaceful quiet retreat that many island properties cannot offer.

The living room and master bedroom open onto the glass & screen encompassed all weather lanai (porch). Our lanai is 'L' shaped, where the short side faces the pool, long side faces directly toward the Gulf of Mexico. Relax in the evening there, while warm breezes waft in off of the Gulf of Mexico laden with a wild salty character. The surf on Sanibel’s beaches are usually gentle and calming ~ it is simply wonderful to completely unwind listening to the waves.

We have everything in our condo to make your stay enjoyable. We have a secure WiFi in the unit (logon credentials posted in our condo). The Living Room has a 1080p HDTV with Blu-Ray disc player (also plays DVDs) on a wall mount that can positioned so you may watch TV from the kitchen or dining areas. The Den has movies, games, and puzzles. We also have toys and towels for the Beach. The Full Kitchen has microwave, toaster, blender, juicer, mixer, coffee pot, small food processor, large stock pot for those seafood feasts, & more. Master bedroom closet has a sewing machine & sewing supplies. Full sized washer, dryer, hair dryers, plus iron & ironing board means you can pack light!

Driving on the causeway en route to Sanibel Island, brown pelicans can be seen flying in formation, diving for dinner, floating on water, or just perching on a pier. Wildlife on Sanibel is cherished and valued by residents and visitors alike. Traffic will stop for land tortoises (or other local wildlife) to cross the road. Bicycle rentals are available nearby, and are a wonderful way to explore the island on the miles of paved bike paths.

Our family first fell in love with Sanibel Island in the 1970s, and soon realized the dream of owning a beachfront rental condominium there. We still return to enjoy its beauty year after year.

What makes this condo unique

We simply love our beachfront view with daily sunsets and the view of the pool from balcony porch to enjoy watching the next generation of mermaids splashing in the waters below. Tennis Courts & Outdoor Grills are on location. Ding Darling's Wildlife Refuge with canoes & kayaks are a "must see" experience. The Atrium is a wonderful 24 condo unit place to stay, with open view to the Gulf of Mexico and a relaxing atmosphere of solitude.

How do you improve perfection?

We just returned from our yearly two weeks in this beautiful condo. Everything was absolutely perfect, as usual. How do you improve on perfection? Well, with all new kitchen appliances and a new, comfy king size mattress! The beautiful stainless steel appliances are state of the art. Refrigerator has ice and water in the door (saved us from having to run to Bailey's every day for water bottles & bagged ice). This condo with every amenity you can think of, its surrounding grounds, and direct oceanfront access are a dream come true. I couldn't recommend it any more than I do.

Better Than Remembered!

Back home again from our fourth stay in this lovely beachfront condo. As always, it was fully furnished with every amenity available on hand. Very clean. Lovely furnishings. HUGE with lots of room for a large family. Loved the new large TV in the master bedroom. Master and living room area both have a view of the ocean, and the lanai is an added treat where we spent many evenings just watching the stars and listening to the waves. I truly love this place. Thank you for making it available to us once again.

Beautiful weather - very relaxing stay!

Very spacious and nicely decorated condo ... tastefully decorated with beach theme items: shells, birds, sealife. It really makes me feel that I'm really in Southwest Florida, both inside and outside on the porch. Beds are comfy, and there's plenty of space to spread out. We really enjoyed the TV's in the master bedroom, living room, and the den, which is rather helpful with a family that likes to watch different shows at the same time. I really like the kitchen too... lots of counter space and well stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils and small appliances. Looking forward to staying at this condo again!

Just Can't Stay Away

We just got home from our third stay at this beautiful condo. It is exactly as described on the web site; extremely clean, fully furnished, huge, low density complex. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thanks to the owners for wonderful correspondence and doing all they can to make our stay the best ever.

Even Better Than Last Year!

This is our second time staying at this lovely condo. We loved it every bit as much as last year, and more if possible!! The condo was immaculate, and the new carpet was just beautiful. As always, this condo is well stocked with everything needed for a great vacation, and the views are just amazing Could not ask for more!! Will be staying again next year if available. :)

Been Here Before

We have stayed probably 12 years in this lovely condo. We love it and it seems like home to us now. The view is georgeous, the rooms are large and compfy and the pool is beautiful. People are nice and it is quiet and relaxing around the pool. You are close to the shops, grocery, Cinama, library and the post office. The owners have continued to up-date with various things: washer, dryer, and carpet. You will love this place and the owners are very nice to visit with and very helpful in answering your questions.
