Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a wonderful stay! You have a gorgeous house and we enjoyed it. We loved that we had no phones or tv for the weekend. It was great just to hang out and enjoy the beautiful weather. Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin. We will be booking again in the future.

Relax in Nature

  • 5 of 5

The setting and view are pure Florida. The cabin is clean and inviting. Bathrooms and kitchen are updated, beds are comfortable. Everything we needed was there.

We visited O'leno and Ichetucknee, had lunch in High Springs and Branford, and just relaxed. The riverside fire pit is great in the evening, and we binge-watched a series on Netflix at night. This is a great spot to escape to nature and forget everyday worries, very cozy and owners were helpful and responsive.

Our Holiday at Suwannee River Cabin

  • 5 of 5

This delightful holiday was perfect! Having the full moon during the middle of our stay was wonderful - what a plan of ingenuity to have a skylight above the bed in the loft. The claw-footed tub was another plus. It has been many years since I have been able to take a bath in a tub and it was just what I needed after a long day on the river. We were so surprised to find that the Suwannee and Santa Fe rivers were so clear! I know that we had at least twenty feet of clarity - maybe more. The next time we go, we will definitely bring the pickup so we can transport the canoe or kayaks upstream and won't have to paddle so much to get to where we want to go. It seemed that we were the only people on the river most days, which was a blessing. The wood stove was very welcoming at night and kept the cabin toasty. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to get away and enjoy the beauty of the Suwannee River.

Beautiful, quiet spot to relax and have fun!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our trip to the Suwannee River Cabin! The house was adorable and had everything we needed for our stay. The kayaks were a huge bonus the river was quiet and calm and we could kayak across without much boat traffic. We will definitely visit again and give it a big thumbs up!
