Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a wonderful stay! You have a gorgeous house and we enjoyed it. We loved that we had no phones or tv for the weekend. It was great just to hang out and enjoy the beautiful weather. Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin. We will be booking again in the future.

Great place to get away!

  • 5 of 5

Loved this vacation home. I rented this with some friends for a place to unplug and disconnect and it was perfect. It's off the beaten path - but directions were very thorough. The fully-equipped cabin is just as scenic in person. We got a lot of use from the fire pit - just watching the river activity (jumping sturgeons are fun). My only suggestion would be more pest control; it is summer in Florida and you're among a lot of trees.

I would recommend it and definitely consider going back.

Most amazing vacation ever!

  • 5 of 5

This property is amazing. Some friends and I came here for a few days and we had such a terrific time! We really relaxed and enjoyed eachothers company. We cooked every night and the cabin had everything cooking wise you could imagine. The doc was were we spent mostly all of our time, and we even watched sturgeons jump right out of the water! We are already talking about booking this trip again! If you're thinking about staying here, stop thinking and just do it you will not regret it!

Did it again!

  • 5 of 5

Larry and I were here New Years 2015 weekend for our honeymoon (see previous review) and fell in love with the cabin and it's surroundings. Needless to say it did not take us long to make the decision to book again and we're there 3 months later. This trip, we decided to take the girls, who totally got it and had the same serenity feeling as Larry and I did.

We highly recommended this cabin for birthday, anniversary, or just to get away!

Magic place, a true hidden gem!

  • 5 of 5

I have to start by saying Robbin was so accommodating and very responsive, great communication thank you so much!

The house is wonderful, they really paid attention to every single detail. The layout of the house is great for families and the decoration is amazing. Many people I showed pictures to they couldn't believe this is still florida. We got there on a really cold night and we started the wood stove right away. They had wood right there for us to start the fire. We couldn't notice how close we were to the river until the next morning. The views of the Suwannee river were beyond amazing, the morning fog was beautiful. The beds were really comfortable and I really loved all the personal touches the house had.

The deck was lovely! we had lunch there on our second day and it was awesome. The house has everything you need for your stay to be perfect. Fully equipped.

It was not hard for us to get there (and it was really dark at night), Robbin gave us very clear instructions which help us to find the house. Although android GPS gave us perfect instructions as well, but it was nice to have the back up instructions form Robbin to know we were on the right direction.

I will definitely come back, this place is worth the drive from Miami ;) If you are looking for a relaxing get away, this is definitely the place you want to go to.
