Great getaway cabin with a breathtaking view!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I had an amazing time at the cabin. The property and surrounding area was very beautiful! The cabin was very comfortable and felt like home, it was pretty well stocked with just about everything we needed. We just had to buy our meals and the grocery store was only about 10 minutes away. This was an outstanding place to stay and it was only a short car ride to see attractions like Cave of the Winds and Garden of the Gods! After gazing at Pikes Peak for a couple days from the cabin porch we had to venture to the summit and all I can say about that is WOW.....the views pretty much left me speechless and in awe!! Can't wait to come back to Colorado and create more fond memories at this cabin!

Thank you so much Wermers family!

Very nice and clean cabin. Driveway was a tiny bit intimidating if you are not from the area. close to Horsethief falls and Mueller Park which we totally enjoyed. Thank you.

Love, love, love!!

  • 5 of 5

This place was amazing!! The views are endless and the cabin felt like home. Our girls really enjoyed the tree swing. We were visited by (4) whitetail deer during our stay, right in the backyard. Located just a short, very scenic, drive to anything you could ever need. We are very sad to leave and can’t wait to return again. Thanks, Tadd!!

great place, great location

  • 4 of 5

Great little cabin in the woods of the Rocky Mountains. Has everything you need, and is quiet and peaceful. Great location, just a short and scenic drive from Cripple Creek, Divide and Woodland Park. Would definitely stay again. Would give it a five, but the driveway is not really made for a little car, and the fridge compressor is kind of loud when it kicks on. Other than that, we loved it.

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

We had a perfect time staying at Tadd & Julie's cabin! The views were amazing. We managed to arrive at peak aspen color, so the mountains around the cabin were incredible. The cabin itself was so great too! Very clean, very well stocked (extra points for even having a garlic press!) We love to cook, and staying at other people's places is always a gamble, you don't know if they will have all the amenities you are used to, but not here. We had a great time grilling on the deck and making a big pot of chili in the kitchen. The rest of the cabin was very comfortable as well. While we were there we hiked to Horsethief Falls, which was gorgeous and only about a half mile down the road. We loved that we got to spend a few days in the middle of the mountains. It provided a much needed stretch of peace and quiet during our two week road trip. Thank you so much for sharing this place with us!
