One balcony off the living room is covered for relaxing in the shade. The other balcony off the master bed room is open to the sky for star gazing at night and sun bathing during the day. Other Opportunities: Ocean Isle Beach is the perfect place for a family vacation. It is has a number of activities for the family. In addition, if you want to venture off the island there are opportunities for day trips, golf, shopping and live entertainment. Several golf courses are within about five miles of the island. And, the drive to numerous activities at Myrtle Beach or to the port city of Wilmington is about 45 minutes.
Thanks Cal. We had a wonderful week. Your condo was perfect for our family. It was so beautiful and had anything we could possibly need. I loved the fact that when you look out the windows all you see is dunes and ocean (and a few deer and a cute red fox that visited nightly). The storage room was very handy for all the beach gear.
We also loved OIB. The weather was perfect! I appreciated that it is not built up with huge beachside high rises. We usually vacation on the Gulf and I forgot how nice the East Coast beaches are and the sand is so easy to walk on. It was the perfect getaway! We will visit again.
We had the most wonderful vacation in your nice condo. Everything we needed was right there. Everything was so clean and the condo was so spacious it was great for us to spread out. The pool, even though not on the beach side, was very nice and clean.
The view from the balconies was a million dollar view! Even if you're not out on the balcony, you can still see the ocean clearly. It was beautiful.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us. It was truly a home away from home!
This was our first trip to Ocean Isle Beach and the beach and the condo did not disappoint. The condo was clean and very comfortable. It had everything in it to make our stay enjoyable. The owners were very easy to work with and they provided helpful information regarding the area. The location of the building was great. The views from the balconies were wonderful. Very easy to get to the beach too! We highly recommend taking a walk to the west end of the island to view the sunset.
Also recommend taking a day trip to Bald Head Island. You get there via ferry, no cars allowed. It was well worth the trip!
Thank you Cal and Barbara for keeping a such a nice place to escape to for some relaxation.
We really enjoyed our time at this home. All of the amenities were present in the kitchen, including sharp knives, cutting boards, a strainer and tupperware for leftovers! Ice maker in the freezer is great as well. The home was clean and neat with room for all of us (we were 5 but also had three staying down the hall who spent much of their daytime with us as well. Appreciated the locker for beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards. Beds were comfortable as well. The entire location was very quiet and we were there at peak season.
This is the second year that my husband, two grandchildren and I have stayed in this property. It is immaculately clean with everything you might need for cooking and serving. The beds are quite comfortable and there is plenty of storage for clothes. It sleeps six with the master bedroom on the second floor. I believe that the dishwasher, washer and dryer are new. We plan to book again for next year.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the condo! So enjoyed being able to see the ocean from den, kitchen, and Master BR! Really clean place also. If you like to cook there are plenty of utensils and equipment. We would rent again! We had to contact owners on 2 occasions and they were quick to respond.
