Perfect everything!

  • 5 of 5

We traveled throughout Europe for a month celebrating our 35th Wedding Anniversary and were absolutely thrilled to stay at this location. The apartment is in an excellent location and was above and beyond our expectations. Very clean..Breathtaking views from every window..Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect experience in Italy..

Molte grazie Rosalba for the opportunity to stay at your beautiful home and for leaving the autographed cookbook..It is displayed in my kitchen and is a daily reminder of our days walking through the streets of beautiful Florence.. Of all the places we stayed along our travels yours was one of our favorites. Just like I dreamed living in Italy would be..Grazie again and again for making our Anniversary trip very special..We will be back for sure!!

Wonderful, charming apartment that was very comfortable! Perfect location to walk to everything. We didn't even mind the steps to get to the top floor! Ros was very helpful giving us great advice. Kitchen was very equipped, only thing missing were wine glasses. Would stay there again in a minute!

Perfect for us!

  • 5 of 5

We wanted a base while we stayed in Italy and not only was Florence perfect, but the apartment was exactly what we were looking for. The pictures and descriptions are very accurate (thankfully) and Rosalba was great - not intrusive but very responsive. The location of the apartment was ideal for sightseeing as well as comfortable. The only suggestion I would make is to perhaps get a foam topper for the bed - it was very hard. Other than that, we were delighted with Apartment Casa Nicola!

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I travelled with our 18-month-old daughter. We enjoyed the apartment.

The main light went out in the kitchen during our stay and Rosalba had a new bulb for us very quickly.

The apartment was a very brief walk to the main museums and we found we loved the restaurants in the adjacent square.

We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Gorgeous apartmem tperfectly located!

  • 5 of 5

My husband (an Italian citizen) and I travel to Italy frequently for business and pleasure with our 3 children (2 of whom now live in Florence). This apartment is one of the nicest places in which I have had the pleasure of staying in all of Italy. Our son and daughter, who live around the corner from this apartment, also stayed here on another occasion when their apartment was being painted and the owner, Signora Rosalba, and her son Nicola could not have been more gracious and accommodating in helping them at the last minute. As soon as we got back home in September, we booked our 3rd reservation for 2 weeks at Christmas. Conveniently located near the church of the Santa Croce (and many restaurants and shops), the apartment is even more charming than depicted in the photos, immaculately clean, and very well equipped in the kitchen as well as in the bathroom (which had hairdryer, toiletries, and extra towels). The furnishings are stylish and most comfortable (particularly the very large sofabed in the living room and the queen size bed in the bedroom), with many antiques throughout and a beautiful small terrace with plants and amazing view up a few steps from the kitchen. The bedroom looks lie something from a 4-star hotel with 2 huge windows and elegant drapes, beautiful antique armoire, desk, and gorgeous down pillows, comforter, Frette sheets. The air conditioner worked perfectly during our hot August stay. As far as the steps, they are no ordeal, unless you have extreme difficulty walking. I am in my 50s and considered the steps great exercise and no burden at all. Do not miss the chance to stay at this affordable and beautiful apartment perfectly located within a 15-minute walk to the Duomo! I can’t wait to return in December and will continue to reserve Casa Nicola each time we visit our children in our favorite Italian city ! Grazie mille Rosalba and Nicola!

Perfect Vacation Lodging

  • 5 of 5

We were more than satisfied with Rosalba's charming, spacious apartment. The space is tastefully decorated with all the right touches, beautiful windows and a wonderful rooftop deck that was a great top-off. The apartment is centrally located yet quiet. Really well-suited for those looking for more than just a spot to crash. We were traveling with a toddler so it was wonderful to have a pleasant space to spend our evenings, and we enjoyed drinking wine on the little terrace, listening to the live street musicians down below. . . Only downside is the steps, there are a lot of them and they are steep, not ideal for lugging up lots of luggage. There was also a strange smell that developed at some point, despite our taking out the garbage daily, and we weren't able to trace this. But other than that we were supremely satisfied.
