The one-level home is stunningly updated and well-appointed with all the COMFORTS of home. Hardwood floors are throughout and compliment the warm, tasteful decor. The living room is centered between the dining room and the game room (with pool table and stretching/exercise area). The LOCATION is IDEAL...just MINUTES to SANIBEL and FT. MYERS beaches as well as Bunche Beach with preserve trails and canoe park, (the Woodland's) GOLF COURSE, outlet mall, restaurants, shopping, and library...and approximately 25-30 minutes to RSW airport. The neighborhood offers miles of pleasant BIKING or WALKING, including approximately a 2 mile path along the water's edge of Shell Pt. peninsula...another great spot for DOLPHIN or MANATEE watching.

This home has been meticulously maintained. As it is our 'home', we are requesting renters who would maintain it as we do. NO SMOKERS OR PETS.

Best month for a SW Florida get-away

There is so much to do a see in this part of Florida. Downtown Fort Myers has art and music crawls twice a month. There are lots of parks for nature walks and seeing the local wild life. And the beaches are not as crowded in January. So you can catch lots of sun and sunsets without the crowds. We loved the location of this home. The home provided wonderful amenities (like heated pool), and was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back!

Tranquil Paradise

We have stayed in this home in March off and on for the past 13 years. The owners have continued to improve on the quality of the furnishings, etc. and have kept this home in top condition. However, the location is what captures us. The setting is indescribable with magnificent water views. It's so close to everything...3 miles to Sanibel Island or quaint Bunche Beach, 6 miles to Ft. Myers Beach, 25 minutes to the airport, and shops just down Summerlin Rd. The home is tucked away from the 'hustle and bustle'. There are many beautiful walks to take in the neighborhood. Our home-away-from-home.

One of the best homes we've rented in Ft. Myers

We loved the location. The homeowners shared 2 bikes, so we biked over the Sanibel causeway to breakfast and the light house beach on several occasions. We also biked to a more private beach that was a bit closer...Bunche Beach. The grocery store (Publix) was also close to bike to as well as Tanager Outlet Mall. There was also a very tranquil walking path along the water that was just 1/2 block from the home. We spent a lot of time just relaxing by the pool. The view was stunning and very private. It was always exciting to hear the 'pffff' of either dolphins or manatee coming up to breath. The home is very comfortable. I cook, and the beautiful kitchen had everything I needed.We really enjoyed our stay in Ft. Myers and in this home.

So much to do in the area. LOVE not being in Fort Myers during tourist season.

We started off our vacation with the holiday 'luminary walks' on Sanibel (1st Friday) and Captiva (1st Saturday). The shops are open and invite you in with holiday cheer and nibbles! Downtown Fort Myers offers Art Walk (1st Friday's) as well as Music Walk (3rd Friday). You can take the 'uncrowded trolly' from the corner of San Carlos/Summerlin all the way down to Lover's Key, you can rent bikes on Sanibel and bike through Ding Darling for fabulous bird watching, you can rent a canoe at Bunch Beach Preserve, and we love the charming farmer's market at Lake's Park...all these things are just a few miles away. Within an hour's drive (or less) is the Edison Home/Botanical Garden's (Ft. Myers), Korshan State Park (great history!) or Estero Bay Preserve, the Naples Botanical Garden. But our favorite is just relaxing by the pool and watching the dolphins and manatees in the canal. We didn't want to leave!

Beautiful, tranquil setting. Comfortable updated home with everything we needed.

We loved the quiet location of the home. Sitting pool side and watching the dolphins and bird life is incredible. The home is well updated, generously equipped for cooking and barbequing (gas grill), beach chairs and umbrella were provided. The owners were very accommodating to deal with, as were the surrounding neighbors. One of our favorite things to do...besides having just a short drive to Sanibel and Bunche Beach & Preserve...was to walk around the water's edge of Shell Pt. Village at sunset and watch MORE dolphins. We loved our stay.
