Absolutely Fantastic. Tons of room and great fishing right on the river just before the damn. Loaded up with Channel Catfish and Blue Cats. Fun for the whole family. George and Chris have a wonderful lodge with everything you could possibly need from boats, and a canoe, to kitchen appliances and utensils and very reasonably priced.
My wife and I stayed here for a quiet fall getaway. House much larger than expected, well kept and clean. Very affordable. Good location to get around the area to fish, shop etc. Owners very nice and helpful. Several piers to fish from, or walk to dam area close by. We utilized the fire pit, grill and nice fireplace. Great for families of all ages or couples. Would definitely stay here again and a lot of bang for your buck!
What a nice place. Very, very clean and cozy. Just bring your food and charcoal. Quiet, relaxing, and peaceful. Had our two dogs and they also loved swimming in the river and sleeping by the water. Owner was friendly, helpful. Didn't leave property once, but if you need or forgot something, town is 15 min drive. bait shop and little pub walking distance from cottage, just over bridge. A++ to the owner.....GREAT TIME
My husband and I rented this home for Easter weekend to provide a meeting place for us and our children. The place was very clean and comfortable, with piers to fish from and a nice deck, grill and fire pit to enjoy the beautiful back yard and river front. There was a full kitchen and a nice gas fireplace inside as well. The owners were wonderful to work with. We enjoyed fishing and exploring the area on our bikes. We would recommend this without hesitation!
House is well maintained, stocked with amenities, and WiFi! Cabin is located on the river closest to dam so boat traffic was non-existent making it very quiet and conducive for fishing. Owners were very helpful on guiding for fishing spots, local places but no need to leave as everything needed is there. Will definitely be booking again.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay this past weekend. Very relaxing! The cottage is very cute with plenty of space for a larger group. We loved taking the canoe out on the river. The area around Lake Koshkonong is so beautiful and pleasant. We will definitely be back. Probably sooner then later. Thanks much!
