This lake house is a perfect place for relaxing, enjoying sunrise and sunset, and fishing.
Families with small children are welcome, and will have a wonderful time, relaxing, swimming, canoeing or fishing.
In the evenings, gathering around the fire and making s'mores and watching sunset will leave unforgettable memories.
You can bring your own boat, jet ski, canoe, kayak or pontoon, or rent ours (if available). Or if you wish, just relax, swim and fish.
My family just had a wonderful week's vacation at this property. The four bedrooms were the ideal size for my family of 3, my sister's family of 3, and our father. The twin beds were great for the kids to share nights in the same room. Without question the best part of our trip was spending time outside! The view from the home is fantastic, especially for sunsets. We loved utilizing the fire pit, swing set, and made at least one trip on the pontoon boat every day. Crooked Lake is so relaxed and safe. Our little ones couldn't get enough of boating and jumping to swim or just jumping off of the dock right by the house. One day we took a trip to Moo-ville Creamery about 30 minute away where the kids had a blast at the petting zoo, playground, and sandbox, along with amazing ice cream at an unbeatable price! Mary and Azim were so attentive and made sure we were having a fantastic time and never needed anything. We're so thankful for their gracious hosting and have unforgettable memories of a great summer week on the lake!
The only thing better than this clean, spacious, peaceful property was the hospitality of the owners Azim and Mehry! They were so friendly and helpful, we truly enjoyed meeting them and appreciated them being right next door for anything we needed.
The house is very clean and had enough room for my family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 8, 7, 2 plus our dog!), my sister's family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids ages 3, 9mo), and my father. We enjoyed renting the pontoon and took boat rides and fished every day. We caught plenty of bluegill, perch, bass and even 2 pike! The kids loved that you could also fish right off the dock if we weren't out on the boat. The spot on the lake has a beautiful view, spacious lawn with plenty of both sun and shade, a nice sandy beach and a large fire pit. The water doesn't get deep quickly, so the little kids could play in the water without worry. There are 2 grills with propane provided that we used almost every night for dinner, a large patio and upper deck where we ate most of our meals outside and a swing set that entertained the kids when the adults couldn't watch them in the water. Inside was a fully stocked kitchen, a washer and dryer, satellite TV (which we rarely used), and Wifi. Having 2 large, full bathrooms was convenient with 2 families sharing the rental. We also enjoyed the dining area inside, staying up late playing cards or games every night. The sunrises and sunsets are beautiful. There is a convenience store that sells hand dipped ice cream within walking distance of the house, as well as a gas station that sells fire wood. We had an amazing time and hope to return. The kids were sad to leave and wanted to stay another week! The owners do a wonderful job of making you feel as if you were at home. We made so many great memories here!
The Ragainis and Bos Family
Just returned from our stay at this wonderful lake house. We had our children and grandchildren up for the week. If you want to experience relaxation this is just the place. Mehry and Azim are the perfect hosts. They were there whenever needed. The lake house was furnished with everything one could think of for a lovely time. Memories were made here!
My husband, two daughters and their husbands and grandson spent the week of the 4th on Crooked Lake. The house comfortably fit all of us with room to spare. The house was nothing fancy, (a typical lake house) it was clean and had all the accessories needed for the week. It had a great lawn for playing Corn Hole and Can Jam as well as swings for the grandson. We walked right out into the lake and floated in our tubes, went on multiple pontoon boat rides each day and made a beach fire nightly.
We spent one day on Battle Creek's excellent bike trail and another day we visited Mooville which my grandson LOVED. Other than that, we relaxed and enjoyed the lake. It was wonderful week. Highly recommended!
Property was clean and spacious, fishing was good and even in the heat it was comfortable to sit in the back yard with the large shade trees. Owners were very nice and ready to help with anything we required. Recommend renting pontoon boat for fishing or just a leisurely cruise.
We enjoyed a great week on Crooked Lake.
The house was exactly as the website described. It was very clean and well maintained. We especially appreciated the central air conditioning. This house offered more parking than others.
The owners(Azim and Mary) were next door. They were super nice people. They were always available to help us with all of our needs or questions.
Our family really enjoyed the pontoon boat that was available to rent. We caught a variety of fish including Crappie, Northern Pike, and Largemouth Bass.
There are very nice restaurants within 30 minutes of the lake.
We definitely would recommend this property for a great vacation!
