Maine, the way life should be!

  • 5 of 5

My family traveled up to Maine to spend the week together. What a great place! The main house and each cottage was clean and well maintained! All 26 of us were comfortable in each of our cottages. What great views of the lake no matter where you were on the property. During the day we relaxed on the huge deck, swam in the lake , used the kayaks, ate, and laughed! At night the kids would play manhunt while the adults hung around the fire relaxing listening to the Loons and watching the sunset/moonrise. When we weren't at the fire we were hanging out in each others cottages or at the main house just enjoying each others company. We rented boats from the nearby marina for a few days to enjoy time swimming , fishing and tubing in that gorgeous lake. Many of us meandered into town to enjoy the Farmer's market and local stores and artisans. What a great vacation spot for large groups and families! We look forward to going up there next summer!

Family Reunion on the Pond

  • 5 of 5

what a relaxing and enjoyable property. we had ages ranging from 83 years young to 5 years old (haha). each cottage has their own uniqueness and all where very clean and comfortable. i would recomend this place for large family reunions or families that know each other. the fire pit at the lake was our highlight each night.. what a way to wake up in the morning (every morning) to the sunrise over the lake. diners in the main house what fun that was... kayaking every day on the lake and just hanging around... and the weather was absolutely wonderful........i cant wait to go back...

great reunion spot

  • 5 of 5

A group of my college friends and I get together every couple of years in different locations. This property was perfect for us. The four houses worked great allowing for plenty of togetherness and still plenty of privacy. I think it would work very well for families with children too. The accomodations were comfortable and well equipped. The kitchens had everything we could want for pulling together some great meals. And then there is the lake! Beautiful spot right on the lake with kayaks, a dock, picnic tables and a hammock. The loons were a treat to see and hear. The owners were great to deal with. We had a wonderful time and plan on visiting again. I highly recommend this property.

Our family stayed at this beautiful complex in May. The main house has a huge kitchen and living room with a deck all overlooking the lake. It was a great place for our extended family of 20 to congregate during rainy periods. It was less than 10 minutes to town but felt very secluded. Some used the kayaks and canoe to paddle around the lake. We had a fire one night at the fire pit. Each cabin had everything you could need. Everything was very clean and well kept up. A great place for family reunions or for several families to enjoy a vacation together! Beautiful lake setting!

We stayed here late last summer and the house is absolutely fantastic. It is as nice as it looks in the pictures. The owner was wonderful to work with and the lake is very beautiful and quiet. There are some nearby houses which you don't see from the pictures, but they did not interfere with our enjoyment of this great place one bit. If we lived closer, we would come back every year.
