We also loved this property because of its park within walking distance, the gorgeous mountain view, and its convenience to nearby dining, city, shopping, golf (Old Mill), and endless outdoor recreational activities in Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons.

What makes this townhome unique

In Cottonwood Heights, it's very difficult to find licensed short-term rental homes because the city ended approval of licenses years ago. This home is licensed and has been for years. This alone sits it apart.

Few locations are as close to the mountain with such immediate proximity to both canyons to world class skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and so many other outdoor activities.

The park adjacent to this community is just gorgeous and compliments this town home community so nicely. With winding concrete walking paths, playground, public tennis court, and plenty of space to run and spread out for kids, this is really one of the best most desirable areas in Cottonwood Heights year round.

Townhouse needs updating.

The master bathroom shower needs a deep cleaning, and the home is quite worn from use. Having the home updated in the bathrooms and carpet would improve the comfort level for rental.

Good experience

Our ski trip went well. The snow was never-ending. We were so amazed how much snow dumped this week. We had one of the best times we've ever had. Hot tub was nice to have, and the proximity to the slopes from this home so convenient. We sure appreciated the discount lift tickets and ski rental gear. Thanks again.

Love Oaks at Wasatch community

We really enjoyed this home and the location to the Cottonwood Canyons. Such a beautiful unit. We were impressed by how well kept it was and accommodating. The location to the mountains is by far the best feature. The mountain views and proximity to the Snowbird was fun with several great outdoor activities. We went zip-lining, fly fishing, and spent the day at the rec center pool. The park next door was also very nice and fun for the kids.

a wonderful ski home near Alta

We really enjoyed staying here for our holiday ski trip. For where portions of the home are outdated, the location and quality of service totally make up for it. Utah's Best Vacation Rentals are top notch in their service - they have this rental thing dialed in. And for skiers, they saved us a lot of money on rentals and lift tickets. Very impressed. We loved the hot tub and the great location to Alta and Snowbird. We would rent again, but most of all, will seek out Utah's Best each time we visit Utah.

Awesome mountain house

If you love the Cottonwoods Canyons you will love this house. Its right uo against the mountain. The home wasquality, clean, as advertised, and had lots of soave for us. Owner drains the hot tub in summer he said (no big deal), especially for the rate we got. There is a park next door we walked to and really enjoyed with paths and tennis and space to play for the kids. We went up to Snowbird for Octoberfest and had a blast and rode the mountain coaster. We also enjoyed many hikes in Big Cottonwood Canyon which is just right there. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others, especially skiers who want to ski the Cottonwoods.

Owner Is Blatantly Misrepresenting This Property

The VRBO listing for this property specifically lists a hot tub. This was a critical factor in our decision to rent the property. When we arrived, we discovered that the hot tub had been drained at the owner's insistence, and was not available for our use. This is an egregious misrepresentation. The management company involved in the rental agreed to give us a partial credit for our inconvenience, but this does not make up for the fact that we were counting on a hot tub, which was advertised, but in fact, does not exist. I would never, ever rent from this owner again and intend to recommend to VRBO that he be banned from advertising on this site!

Owner's Response: We made a mistake on this. We manage this home for the owner and he demanded we drain the hot tub for summer. Despite our best effort to stop this from happening, he insisted. So we did so and failed to inform you. We sincerely apologize. We have since updated our marketing to make people aware it is a seasonal hot tub. We do take responsibility for this issue, but we have taken corrective action to ensure noone else feels this way. It is a fabulous home in an unbeatable mountain location right at the foot of Big Cottonwood (awesome ski location), and many guests have stayed here and loved it. Don't judge us by this one incident, you will find that it does not represent how we do things and how nice our homes are.
