We have all the basic amenities of home and more!!! Enjoy Direct TV with THX sound system and Blue Ray in two separate living areas. Kitchen has 6 burner commercial gas range with two ovens! We provide 2 toilet paper rolls per bath and one set of papertowels in kitchen. We have all of the kitchen utensils and dishes to seat 16, but you will need to bring paper products if you have a larger group. Also, be sure to not forget your foil, plastic bags, etc. One great thing about Lakehaven is the beautiful dock! Many docks on our lake have literally hundreds of steps to the lakes edge. We have a gently sloping beautifully landscaped path and ten steps down to the dock! Our dock is private and literally a few hundred feet from the boat ramp access. All you need to do is turn on our gravel road, drop your boat in the water and ride over to our dock! If you do not have a boat, no problem! Contact owner regarding the 17 person Tritoon boat rental available for additional fee.

Great family getaway

  • 5 of 5

We took our family of three, two sets of grandparents, two aunts, an uncle and two cousins to Lakehaven for spring break. There was something for everyone and plenty of room. The swinging sofa and paddleboat were especially fun for the kids. Dad enjoyed the amazing grill, downstairs fireplace and perfectly outfitted kitchen! The house had everything we needed and then some.

Breathtaking Home

  • 5 of 5

We had 3 families in our group, 7 teenagers and 6 adults. We all had our own space and never felt crowded. The views are incredible. The house is equipped like your own home. The home is just gorgeous!! We loved the views, the fireplace and the lake. We were able to rent the owners boat for a couple of days which was so convenient. This is a fantastic place to rent and Cindy and Thomas were so accommodating and helpful when planning our trip.

Another perfect vacation!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second year at Lakehaven and have booked again for 2016! Lakehaven is secluded and we love it! We consider it a hidden treasure because the lake is not overrun with others. Cindy (owner) is such a pleasure to deal with and has always answered any questions/concerns we have in a very timely manner. The home is spectacular and pictures do not do it justice!!. We enjoy going to the Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) and made a trip to the Biltmore House this time. The Lake End Marina is a great asset to the lake. We had dinner there our first night because after unpacking & getting settled it was late. We have rented the owners pontoon both years and thoroughly enjoy it! Lake End is open late on the weekends and all 15 of us enjoyed our meals. They also deliver food to the dock (LOVE THIS) and it's just a quick boat ride so the food won't get cold! The NOC is another good place to eat but is a little pricy. Overall, if you're a nature and water lover and enjoy being far away from it all, this is the place to go! Thank you again Rainey's for sharing your home!

A true "lakehaven" in North Carolina

  • 5 of 5

Pictures do not do this home justice. As soon as you walk in and look out the window, the views leave you mesmerized. There were 11 people in our group and we never felt crowded. The owners are a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. This stunning home was clean, comfortable, and no details were overlooked. We grilled many evenings and stayed outside looking at the stars. We couldnt get enough of the views. The canoe and paddle boat provided were a hit with the kids. Thank you Cindy and Thomas for sharing your lovely home with us.

Truly a little slice of Heaven!

  • 5 of 5

There were 17 people in our group and there was not one aspect of our week at Lakehaven that every one of us didn't thoroughly enjoy! The owners are a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. This magnificent home was clean, comfortable, and stocked better than any other home we have rented. From the moment you step through the front door and see the picture perfect view of the lake, you will not stop trying to "take in" all that surrounds you. It is the most beautiful home on this amazing lake and the view of it from the water at night is simply a sight to see. We were up with the sun to get the most of our days and our morning coffee will never taste the same again without sitting on the balcony. We booked our stay for next year as we were leaving on our last day, so to say we love Lakehaven is truly an understatement. Thank you for sharing your "gift" with us. We were blessed beyond measure... The Clisby, Rudd, Davis, Wagner, and Larson Families

Tranquility and Luxury Abound

  • 5 of 5

The home is Special!!! From the first interaction with the homeowner, the was the best, most professional, pleasant experience renting a vacation home for our annual vacation group of 3 families (6 adults, 6 children). The home is stunning and no detail was overlooked in construction or appointments. It was plenty large enough for our group. Noone felt the least bit cramped ever. We enjoyed cooking and sharing all our meals in the beautiful kitchen/dining area and on the side porch. With views like this home has from each and every room, you will never want leave. We played on the dock and boated on this gorgeous lake everyday. Ping Pong, reading, games, movies, and fireside chats every night made this a wonderful way to reconnect with our friends and family. The beds were as comfortable as mine at home and the view every morning and at bedtime is unreal. All of the bathrooms have oversized tubs which was a pleasure. The downstairs kitchen was a plus for overflow groceries. Lake Nantahala is a pristine gem. We have stayed in a few homes on this lake and this is by far the best house on the lake! We love it and will come back to Lakehaven as long as we are able.
