Enjoy the urban elegance of Park Avenue right here in Traverse City. The Brownstones on Boardman capture the classic elegance of upscale urban design and living just one short block from Traverse City's full array of restaurants, shops, galleries, theaters, and night spots. The broad sandy beaches and scenic beauty of Grand Traverse Bay are only two blocks away. The Brownstones are located adjacent to Traverse City's desirable downtown historic district featuring tree-lined streets, broad sidewalks, and beautifully restored Victorian homes. This condominium has three levels. The main living area level contains a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, and a half bath. The second floor features a large master bedroom with king size bed, vaulted ceiling, walk-in closet and private bath. The second level also has second bedroom with a queen size bed and private bath, as well as a washer and dryer. The ground level includes a one-car garage and storage area.
This is the 4th time I've rented this condo. Can't beat the location. It's so close to everything in town. The garage is great to have and for extra cars the parking garage is just around the corner. It's comfortable and well furnished with everything you need. You won't be sorry.
This condo is beautifully furnished, very close to downtown and the owner was super accommodating! We loved our girl's weekend away and will happily stay here again!
We were very pleased with our stay at this condo. Well maintained with all the furnishings we needed and a great location. Very nice and easy to work with. We would recommend this condo to everyone.
This is my second time renting this condo. I can't pass up the great location for the film festival.. Clean and comfortable, this condo has everything you need for a comfortable week. The garage comes in handy as well if you bring your bikes or kayaks. Highly recommend.
One warning, if you have more than one car as we did, you can't park out front on the street overnight, (even though it is not posted!) you could get a ticket. ( I did ).
We needed a place to stay to attend a family wedding in Traverse City, and this was a perfect location (within walking distance for the reception) and an absolutely beautiful condo. It is stocked with everything you could possibly want - dishes, towels, soaps, etc. We definitely enjoyed the comfort and had a relaxed stay at the condo. I would highly recommend this condo and location to anyone who wants to enjoy their time in Traverse City.
This unit was nicer than the pictures show. It is very clean and updated. We liked that there is an enclosed garage to put our car over night. There were more than enough appliances and kitchen utensils, dishes, glasses etc. We especially liked the location which was just a few block walk to the downtown with shops and restaurants. We had a wedding at the Opera House and it is a hard place to park a car. We were lucky enough to only have to walk a few blocks there and leave our car at the unit. There are a lot of stairs in this condo so I do not recommend it to anyone who has a hard time with going up and down stairs. You have to walk up the stairs from the garage to the main living area and then walk up a lot more stairs to the bedroom area. The whole condo is wall to wall carpeted so I don't recommend to anyone with carpet allergies. There is hand pump soap in all 3 bathrooms as well as dish soap in the kitchen but since this is not a hotel, I recommend that you bring your own shampoos and body soap. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom on the third floor and there is a 1/2 bath in the main living area near the kitchen. I believe the sofa in the living room had a pull out bed. This is a very comfortable place to stay. It is just like staying in someones home. We were able to make our own breakfast every morning which was so much more convenient than having to go out and look for a restaurant. I think our main complaint was some of the noise outside from the busy streets nearby. Seems like there were always people outside talking. The owner was easy to deal with and returned all calls and emails.
Traverse City is the commercial, recreational, and activities center of the region. In the nearby area are wineries on Old Mission and Leelanau Peninsulas, the performing arts at Interlochen Center for the Arts and Old Towne Playhouse, and outdoor activities at the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and other recreational areas. There are also numerous golf courses, beaches, and boating opportunities. Traverse City is also home to various festivals throughout the year, including The National Cherry Festival, The Traverse City Film Festival, Horse Shows by the Bay, car and boat shows, as well as many others.
