My family and I live in San Jose, and have been renting our vacation rental homes in Tahoe for many years. We often have our guests tell us that staying in one of our homes is more like enjoying a friend's Tahoe Cabin than a rental house. I make it our policy to have a beautifully clean, nicely decorated Tahoe Style home for your mountain vacation, winter or summer.
Joyce and Bob Miller- homeowners. We have 2 North Shore Rental Homes. purchased this house in 2000
Tahoe's Peaceful West Shore is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation at Tahoe. The Tahoma Cabin is a short walk to Chamber's beautiful sandy beach, only about 1/2 block from the Lakeside Bike Path, 1 mile from Sugarpine Point State Park, and convenient to Homewood Ski Resort, Alpine meadows and Squaw valley.
Emerald Bay is a short drive, as well as Meek's Bay beach.
The little town of Tahoma never seems to change much, with it's quaint little country market and several cozy restaurants. It is 'Old Tahoe' as you remember it and perfect for unwinding and relaxing.
Only 2 blocks to the Beach!! 5 Min to Homewood Ski and 20-25 min to Squaw Valley
The house was so comfortable-we had a 4 year old and a dog who both loved the neighborhood and the yard. We were extremely happy with the house, and would recommend it to anyone.
Our family had an excellent trip to Tahoe thanks for this cabin- it was perfect in many ways. The upstairs living area is so light and airy, and plenty of space. We cooked our meals at home, using the well furnished kitchen. The downstairs bedrooms are roomy and private, and very nicely furnished. The hosts generously offered to let us use their bikes and hot tub. The back yard is private and fenced in. We definitely hope to return. Linda H.
Very comfortable location in a quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was well equipped. The open floor plan on the 2nd floor was great for gathering the whole family. Thanks Joyce!
Perfect for our family - warm and welcoming!
We stayed for 10 days at the Tahoma cabin and it was our third year with 3 generations staying in the area. This cabin was great for our two grandchildren 3 and 1+. They even have lots of kids toys in cupboards of kitchen island. We could close off the stairs with the gate provided and the carpeting made it quieter and warmer. Big plus having the high chair also. Daughter brought noise machines (tablets) for bedrooms so kids could go to sleep and adults could stay up and play games and be loud without waking them up - Big Plus! The jacuzzi was nice for the kids and their parents. Close to Chambers Landing, obexters to launch boat, PDQ for groceries and treats for grandchildren. Meeks bay a short drive away, as well as Tahoe City the other way. We cooked almost all meals in and there was plenty of kitchen ware to do so! The patio/deck was very nice to sit at and the cabin was very roomy. Although we brought a lot of our own there were lots of games movies etc. the neighborhood is very nice and quiet when we were there in late September. Joyce is very nice and easy to work with and we would definitely come back and recommend to others.
