About Paul Brourman
Little Big Sky Cabin is near to our hearts as we celebrate our third decade of visiting Big Sky as an extended family. This special place was originally the home of Big Sky's first Sheriff. We pride ourselves in our vacation home and are looking for caring, responsible families or groups that will treat it as a special place of their own. We have had many families enjoy our property over the years and each has left a special note in our guest book. We look forward to your stay!
Paul Brourman purchased this House in 1998
Why Paul Brourman chose Big Sky
We always wanted a home in Big Sky after years of fishing there as a family. To us, the phrase, 'the last best place' applies to this region. And discovering our home ('Little Big Sky') gave our family the piece of Montana we always desired to bring us back to our roots. Activities include blue ribbon fly-fishing, whitewater rafting, scenic lift, biking, hiking, nearby playground and park, floating down the Madison River, golfing and horseback riding, zip lines... Winter activities: skiing (down hill) just 9 miles from the cabin, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and sleigh rides.
What makes this House unique
The cabin and setting are exceptional. You are literally surrounded by stunning mountain views and the sound of the river flowing near the house just adds to the ambiance of the location. Sitting on the large front deck and stargazing at nights are just two relaxing activities we enjoy. Fly fishing and wildlife viewing in your back yard.

Great time with friends
We had a great time in big Sky! The property was secluded enough that the kids could stay outside and play and we didn’t have to worry about them. We had 2 families staying here- the kids stayed in the 2 bedrooms downstairs and the adults stayed in the 2 bedrooms upstairs. The property has a nice hot tub, wood fire place, and a few outdoor games as well as inside games. The pool table is not set up for guests. The creek is beautiful and a short walk down the hill from the home. There are paved walking trails to town and hiking trails. We enjoyed waking 1 mile to a local brewery and then another time walked 2 miles to another local brewery. Drove 1 hour to Yellowstone several days, ziplined at the ski resort, fly fished on a guided trip, and hiked Lone Peak trail. It’s a great location with beautiful Mountain Views! The only negatives are the kitchen is pretty small and the beds aren’t very comfortable.
Felt like we were at home! Everything was perfect very clean and well maintained. It was wonderful from the amount of cooking utensils, 360 breathtaking views, great washer and dryer, peaceful front deck, surround sound, river access, central location, hammock, games for the kids. We loved every moment of our stay!
Great Place for a Vacation
Just about everything was picture perfect. Any issue, regardless of how minor, was handled quickly and with friendliness and professionalism. Location was amazing, views spectacular, and experience one of a kind.
A great location and experience
Our family had a great vacation here. It is so close to the Big Sky Resort and Yellowstone and a lovely place. After sitting in the hot tub every night, we came into a nice warm fire. I highly recommend this place.
Couldn't Ask For More
Wow is the only way to describe this property. From location, to size to layout everything about this property will blow away your expectations. We had family from 5-65 years old and this amazing home had something to keep all ages thrilled.
Spotting a moose and elk on the property was an outstanding way to start your trip! Thanks so much for your kind words and it was great having you all! Wishing you the best.
Big Sky, Yellowstone Country, Montana, USA (45 Min from Bozeman Airport, 40 Minutes to Yellowstone Park) --- While the cabin is located in the heart of the Big Sky Resort, the riverside setting is very private, peaceful and just 15 miles to the Yellowstone Park border where bison, moose, elk and other wildlife may be seen. The new town center is just a mile away and features restaurants, shopping and rentals. We welcome you to this exceptional getaway!
